Beautiful Place to Meditate on Word of God.

Calm and serene. This place is basically a Christian ashram, established in 1930 by Dr. E Stanley Jones and since then it has spread to 38 countries. The place offers praying facility and is open to people of all faiths. It also offers accommodation and food at very reasonable prices (as we got to know from caretaker there). Also it is a very peaceful place and silence should be maintained all the time.

The Sattal Christian ashram is a beautiful property built in the 1930's!! And Perfect for summer getaways for young people. The rooms and facilities are basic but if you're in a place like Sattal it is quite evident that you're there for the wonderful experience, the hills, the beautiful weather and the ashram provides you that and is nicely located and just a km away from the tourist sattal site. You can go around for morning walks/runs around the property and explore the trails which we did during our time here. Please note that there alot of leeches here so be careful, wear long joggers and carry salt!!

Serene, inclusive ashram open to all. The ashram has done a stellar job preserving the forest and biodiversity zone that makes up most of the estate, and is the critical watershed for Sat Tal lakes.

Really really peaceful place in the middle of the mountains. Enjoy your time.

It has seven lakes like the name says,if you want to have get away from city life,this is the perfect place to be, it has lakes, green trees, quietness, no network only Jio works here. The place is very affordable budget friendly and the food is quite good. For people who loves quietness and fresh oxygen should come here.
