Satkar Paradise, Manipal - Hotel in Manipal - Udupi, India

Loved it ! The staffs are very friendly. The rooms are just as the pictures on Makemytrip app and a the rooms have A/C. The only downside I felt was that it's located inside a housing colony. I don't recommend taking rooms on the first few floors as the room can be viewed easily from the neighboring houses so I suggest you keep those curtains closed at all times. They do not have a restaurant, you will have to order it from outside restaurants. The menu can be found in the room itself.

Nice place!! The rooms here are quite spacious and has AC's installed in each of the rooms. The staff is very courteous here and the room service is pretty good as well. The ambience is quite pleasant and the price too is not very expensive. The downside though is the privacy as the rooms as visible to the nearby buildings. This is for the initial few floors only. Overall it's a nice hotel in terms of stay, service and price.

Hotel has very good rooms equipped with all amenities. To my surprise it also has a well maintained modular kitchen with induction stove, fridge, crockeries, sink, etc. and thus makes it an one-room flat. Long common balcony area is also impressive. Cleanliness level was excellent. The only problem is that the hotel does not have any restaurant and therefore for lunch and dinner either the guests have to go outside or get the food through home delivery from nearby restaurants. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast but that is bare minimum and the guests have no options to select from. Reception area of the hotel is also not well placed and guest's car cannot enter the hotel gate. However, persons at reception desk are very friendly.

It is a service apartment and the rates are reasonable. Rooms were good and AC was working well. It doesn't have a restaurant. However, many good restaurants are there nearby and they do delivery to the room. On the other side , bathrooms are small. Maintenance of the rooms are poor . Our room wardrobe didn't have a door at all! Service is also very poor. So better carry water bottles with you especially at night . The common balcony is also a bad idea . Make sure that the curtains are closed properly and the glass door is locked.

Service is good, rooms are spacious. However all rooms open on to a common balcony. One needs to carefully draw curtains to preserve privacy. Did not try the room service. Check towels for cleanliness. Two 500 mla water bottles are all that come with the room. Extra water is available at a nominal charge.

It was an amazing experience I had @satkar paradise. As I always do, before heading to this hotel I went tru almost all the reviews. As you find in other reviews Mr Aravind was a really helpful person. You can ask for any help u need @Manipal, he will help you out. Both Mr Aravind as well as Mr Sunil speak Malayalam too... It's a compact clean place. As mentioned in other reviews there was a foul smell in the toilet but not too much. I spoke to the management and they said they will be rectifying it very soon. Room:- Talking about the room, it's clean and neat. You get a revolving Tv that you can watch lying down on your bed or you can just turn it around and watch it sitting on the sofa. You get a small compact kitchen area where you have an induction stove and a small basin. You have a balcony on one side but I never used it as it is common for all in the same floor. I found that a bit awkward, at least they should have kept a small partition. Food:- Is ok. Only breakfast is made @hotel. Management said they will be starting restaurant soon. But you can still order they will bring it from near by hotel. Over all it's a compact,clam and quite place which is very neat and clean. I personally prefer such hotels. As we are not gonna play football in our rooms. It's good enough to keep luggages for 2 persons comfortably. Compact clean stay. Cheerz Note: it's just my personal view. May change for others.

Booking through Ibibo has always been a hassle free experience...and this one no different. We checked in early at 8am and staff very courteously allowed us without extra charges. The room was serene with balcony with the hill view . room was filled with ameneties like Microwave, fridge , induction stove , led tv. The breakfast was fabulously fresh and tasty. We kept our luggage In cloak room while checking out ...while returning the hotel very courteously gave us room in the evening to change and get fresh before we boarded our bus back . Overall...completely satisfied with the services . It's a complete package ..Will Recommend all.

Location is good. Ambience is also nice. Rooms are clean. Every room has got a separate spacious balcony and a kitchen well equipped inside.Only issue is bathrooms are so tight that you can not move around much and no proper ventilation is provided.
