Great authentic (South Indian) home made food for example thali at lunch (100Rs). Very friendly people (staff), helpful with any request If you are in Tiruvannamalai, then go to Sathya's Cafe and it probably will not be the only time you go Because we stayed at the Sathya's guest house, we ate at the cafe many times (breakfast, lunch, pizza (wed+sat) and dinner). Veggies, potatoes, dosa, papadam, idly are all very good. The pizza is really good too. It has a thin crust (like tarte flambee) and they also spared the cheese upon our request (vegan). Though a bit sweet, the lemon ginger tee saved us when we had a bit of a sore throat

Best place for good food and ambience in Tiruvannamalai. The food quality is great, you feel like having ur home food. We happened to have all three Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on the same day here. You get good food for nominal price here.

Quel delice ce Thali. Tout simple, bien epice, bonne quantite,... prepare avec amour N'hesitez pas a vous arreter la-bas a midi. Le matin, petit-dejeuner self-service : idli, vada, pori,... Et le soir? J'ai teste le plain dosa. Croustillant et tendre a l'interieur. Bonne adresse

I stayed in their guest house which is decent, however the location is little far from city, outskirts actually. 500 meters away from giri valayam road. So, you have to walk 1 km extra if you are planning pradakshina.

UNSPICY tasty organic vegegetarian food.really good value. ate here a few times and will come back if i pass by again. thali with RED rice, as available. had breakfast the next day with a nice variety of 3 chutneys. also had uthapam here with various vegies. its basically a thicker versoon of a dosai. bring some moskito repellent in the evening during notorious moskito hour, else they also have some. also i suggest to order breakfast without plastic foil under it. one day i got it on a plate, the other with plastic in between food and plate-which i saw in this resto and other places before.it is not unusual in india. i assume to make the wash up easier.was just surprised when it happened to me today... please support me and LETS ASK FOR a PLASTICFREE PESENTATION OF THE FOOD.thx

The pizza was not very good. It was an South India approximation to pizza. Moreover they insist, that we eat the pizza with your hands. A traditional South Indian approach but unfortunately not my path. I had to go to the kitchen and insist several times to get a fork, knives were not available at that time. Service was very, very slow. So this is for sure: This was my first and last visit at Sathya's Cafe.
