Sathanur RF (susihaney) - National park in Ponnaiyur R.F. - Tiruvannamalai, India

I was visiting for the first time. The reservoir has so much of parks, children play area and statues around. We went during january so the water level was full and had a nice view. the surrounding is very scenic and greenery. There is a crocodile bank which is must visit. We should appreciate the staffs who are maintaining it very well. Good thing about this reservoir is one can go upto the top by car and park and then can walk on the dam to view the water level in reservoir. these days in many reservoir they dont allow i guess. If initiatives are taken to popularize this reservoir it will for sure pull visitors in volumes.. Go for it!

Good place to visit with children. This place has a park, a swimming pool and a crocodile farm. Plenty of parking space available for cars. Entry ticket for car is Rs. 40. I have been here during December, after monsoon. So dam is filled with water to the brim. It's a treat to watch dam full of water.

Nice place to spend more time with children's. There are lot of places available to visit. Crocodile park more than 50+ lives there you can watch it closely. Fish aquarium available. And huge park area available to spend more and more time. Well maintained. Cool and rich look place.

Very well maintained dam area. During my visit the water level was low and dam wasn't operational. However it's a great experience to visit this big dam. Attractions: Dam (Good) Hydro electric power plant (Good) Kids area * 3 (Good) Crocodile park (Good) Swimming pool Car parking facility (Good) Food items availability (Good) Overall a well maintained place. With spending time with your kids.

Nice place to pass a half day time there. There are colourful flower garden, crocodile Park. Boating was not operational then. 5rs entrance fee. Good to visit if one is nearby tiruvannamalai.

Children can enjoy the parks n the Dam. The crocodile park is very nice and it has more crocodiles, close to 300 counts.

Well maintained by government and people. Have parking space, children's play, wash rooms, swming pool and many more. Valid entry fees. Hats off to the people who's maintaining it.
