I recently had the opportunity to visit Sarsaiya Ghat in Kanpur, and I must say it was an incredibly peaceful and serene place. The highlight of my visit was witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the Ganges River. The view was simply mesmerizing, and the atmosphere at Ghat was serene and calming. It felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The ghat was well-maintained and provided a comfortable space for visitors to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. One of the highlights of my experience was the option to go boating. It added an extra element of fun and excitement to my visit. As I sailed along the river, I couldn't help but feel a sense of tranquility and connection with the surroundings. The gentle breeze, the sound of the water, and the stunning views created an unforgettable experience. The overall ambiance of Sarsaiya Ghat was incredibly soothing. The combination of the serene environment and the stunning sunrise made it a perfect spot for meditation or simply finding solace amidst nature. I found myself completely immersed in the beauty around me, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you're looking for a place to escape the chaos of daily life and reconnect with nature, Sarsaiya Ghat in Kanpur is an ideal destination. The peaceful ambiance, coupled with the picturesque sunrise and the option for boating, makes it a must-visit location. I highly recommend visiting this place, as it offers a unique and beautiful experience that will leave you with lasting memories.
Sarsaiya Ghat is one of the most beautiful and historic ghats in Kanpur, located on the bank of the Ganga river. It is a perfect place for family outings, cultural events, religious ceremonies and enjoying the scenic view of the river. The ghat has been recently renovated under the Namami Gange program and has become more clean and attractive. The ghat also hosts the famous Ganga Mela, a festival that marks the end of Holi celebrations and pays tribute to the freedom fighters of 1857. The ghat is easily accessible by road and has several stalls and shops nearby. The ghat is also a popular spot for photography and videography. However, visitors should be careful of stray dogs and cows that may roam around the ghat. Overall, Sarsaiya Ghat is a must-visit place in Kanpur for anyone who loves nature, culture and history. Peacefull and beautiful place to visit river ganga and had a bath of the holy river in hinduism culture. You can aslo enjoy boating here. The place is extremely peacefull and had great scenes during rainy seasons. The syk over there is great to see during sunrise and sunset.
Ghat has plenty of boats to enjoy boating and has wonderful sunset and sunrise view. It could have been such a wonderful place only if KDA cleans it regularly. It can be Kanpur's favourite ghat only if government start taking care of it. Till then its not worth visiting.
Ganga aarti at sarsaiya ghat is incredible in its own and this scene looks so mesmerizing when it's ghat decorated ,held on 8th day after every year of holi festival.
A beautiful and quiet place with cool breeze and water running. A nice place for mental peace and health. My recommendation is to visit at night (not too late). Its a religious as well as a tour site viewing place. One can sit along the river bank putting his legs in the running water of the river and get a natural therapy.
One of the Oldest, Historical & Renowned places of kanpur. It has its own vibe. It feels very peaceful & soothing here. Specially on the day of "Dev Deepawali" It is a must visit. The scene at that time is just remarkable. You can also enjoy a boat ride here. Outside the ghat you can find small kiosks where you can find some amazing streetfood & different souvenirs Also.
