Sarovar Royalee - Restaurant in Davanagere - Davangere, India

Located on the main. The restaurant has a good interior. The menu is good. The taste was good. The balcony view is really awesome. We may feel like having more sitting and looking towards the road. Air conditioned restaurant. One server (senior) needs to be a little friendly with customers. Others were fine. I recommend this restaurant for non-veg lovers. The Sarovar Royalee..... Done once Busy on weekends...

I just tried the chicken tikka biryani(delivery) at Sarovar, and unfortunately, it was a immensely disappointing experience. The dish turned out to be nothing but excessively spicy. The overpowering heat completely masked any other flavors(if at all they added any), making it challenging to enjoy the meal. As someone who appreciates a balanced mix of spices, I found this biryani to be too intense and not reflective of the traditional flavors I was expecting. Priced at around rs 250, this has to be the worst biriyani I've ever tasted in my life. Really disappointed. I hope the restaurant considers toning down the spice level to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for all customers.

We visited this hotel in Davanagere recently and would like to break this review into primarily ambience, hospitality and food part for doing justice to over all review. Ambience is decent enough to any standard restaurants with air conditioning and comfortable seating. Place is quite clean enough and has restrooms. Hospitality is bit of a hit and miss, the person waiting on us insisted on ordering what he suggested than us ordering what we wish. He was super busy, everything on the floor had to pass through him, we had to keep waiting for his attention for anything, even wait significantly for getting a bill. The whole ordering process and waiting for good to come was so pathetic and very long, that we lost fun in all the evening plans. In fact we did not even have main course and just requested for bill so we could eat elsewhere. Food turned out to be quite average as opposed to what was present in glowing reviews. Vegetarian part was far better than chicken based dishes. Best part was fish and Baby corn based dishes. But what stuck to us that bases for all dishes was same- so in effect whatever dish we are eating, they all tasted same which was huge let down. There is usually good enough car and bike parking available. Probably might not return to this place in near future.

I AM ordered chicken tikka biryani take 30mins worest serving and food also worest not good

Since I completed my engineering in B.I.E.T , 2016 , every time I am on my way to Bangalore from goa , I visit this restaurant may be once or twice in a year with my family . But this time unfortunately we didn't feel that great compared to our earlier visits . The place didn't look so neat and clean , the seating cushions were stained . And also the food didn't taste that great as it used to before . But still 3 stars because Its hard times since covid and I am sure they will renovate .

Average food but overburdened staff, maybe hence they don't know how to treat customers, unhygienic and very poor ambience. Highly recommend for renovation. Very disappointed.
