This is not even an ok place. Not recommended for anyone. Book only if you are exhausted with all other options in the city. Ahmedabad city has got many nice hotels. Biggest problem with the hotel is gloomy rooms and slow restaurant service.
Food was good. Shower need a bit facelift. Little damp smell and shower gel dispenser was empty. Plenty shampoo for a bald man though ;-)
Ok room but location is very bad. On a very busy road. Service was not great, had to ask many times for anything. Food wasn't that good. Room needs more outlet for all electronics. Asked for and got a power strip.
Sarovar Portico is very good and nice place for staying in heart of ahmedabad. Very close to kalupur railway and metro station u can got every thing in this market. Hotel is located good place. give 10/10
The most important thing about this hotel is it's prominent location and accessibility to varius popular markets, streets, shops and bust stands and railway station.
A few minutes walking from Ahmedabad Railway Station, excellent location. Rooms are spacious. Full comfort for travelers on duty. A good vegetarian restaurant with moderate priced foods is additional delight.
Had dined at Sarovar Portico recently with some friends. Must state that the food served is excellent, ambience good, staff courteous, location 5 min walk from Railway Station. Don't know about the rooms as I didn't stay there but food is a must try. Note : only veg food is served. Do visit.
Nice hotel to stay. I enjoyed my business trip for 2 days.
