Okayish biriyani rice with fried chicken pieces. Rice and chicken available separately as well. Highlight of the place is that it's pretty cheap. Though if you're looking for taste, best not go here.

The taste of the rice alone is fabulous... The chicken piece is fried and is mouth watering to think about... This is easily the best biriyani in town... The only reason i left out a star is the inconsistent size of the chicken pieces... Hope they will try to correct this...Finally, It is a must have when in kottakkal...

Even though it is slightly inside of a building and old fashioned it is crowded during lunch hours.. Because they serves very tasty Biriyanis with a piece of fried chicken at very reasonable price. The Biriyani you must try on.... Also they have a good parking facility for two-wheelers.

Though cannot be technically called biriyani, the biriyani served is very tasty. It is a combination of deep fried chicken piece and dum biriyani rice. This biriyani is a different varient and has a unique taste and cannot be compared with biriyani that you get from popular restaurants. Their biriyani got noiced amoung the local customers due to its special taste and cheap price. The restaurant is opened only for lunch hours from around 11AM- 4PM. The place will be crowded during the peak lunch hours. They have parking spaces for two wheelers. No separate seating arrangements for families. Those who are nearby Kottakkal or are passing through Kottakkal must try this biriyani. It is located inside of a building opposite to Akbar Travels office near bus stand.
