It's a perception that university women's hostel is bad .. I am talking about all hostels inside the women's hostel campus. Nothing like bad.. I will say one can live at much less price inside hostel that many private hostels in the city. H.O.R has good rooms with all facilities provided inside, for many other hostels inside you will need to carry your own tubelights and fans and coolers (if required) but at low price for lodging you can still manage this.. Coming to food..same breakfast everyday in mess (alu paratha or plain paratha), per day food will cost you around 100 bucks. You can go for tiffin if you don't like the food in mess. Clean and drinking Water is there provided that the water coolers in your hostel work properly. Shops that will provide you with most of the basic needs are in the hostel campus. Hostel is also having gym facility for fitness freaks (no gym charges, University Id card is required). Security is good but Hostels campus is not very clean. There is a lump of garbage on back side of red building (for now) and nobody bothers. University can take steps for cleanliness and moreover it's our duty not to throw garbage anywhere but in water tanks(broken) that are specially made as dustbins. Dont worry.. It will be clean with our efforts. So welcome to the university women's hostel :)
This is a girls hostel of university of allahabad.. Fee is affordable nd submitted annually. There is a good ambiance of study, purified water is available and cleanliness is average..
