Finally found a proper fine dining Bengali cuisine restaurant in new Hyderabad other than Oh Calcutta. Ambience was good with soothing Bengali songs in the background. Coming to food, we ordered bhetki fry and chicken biryani. The coating was thick and the fish content was quite less. Biryani was flavoursome and the chicken was juicy and tender.
This time we went to the outlet near DLF. We took veg n fish cutlets as starters and then rice n luchi with chicken posta, fish bhapa, aloo parwal posta and paneer curry. The portion was decent and so was the taste. The cutlets along with bhetki bhapa n chicken posto were the best. Staff were courteous and the environment was hygienic.

Restaurant owner Sarita was kind enough to suggest the best dishes according to my liking. Knowing my Marathi background she instructed chef to add little more spices. This customisation satisfied my Maharashtrian taste palete, yet maintained authenticity of cuisine.
I tried Fish Cutlet as a starter & Basanti Rice and Kosha Magsho in main course.

Nice place to have bengali food. Taste is good so as the quantity. Yeas price is little high but that is expected as you are not in West Bengal Anyway go and taste the food. They have buffet on special days.

We had Chicken roll, egg roll, Chicken biryani and fish cutlet. Rolls were pretty ok . I liked the cutlets which was pretty crispy on the out and looked very nice. biryani was around average. Definitely had a nice aroma but not the best Calcutta biryani. The only reason I took away 3 stars is because of a hygiene issue ( cockroaches giving us company!) that was discussed with the owner and she was also witness to it. She did apologise which is fine but such issues are the last to expect in any restaurant.
The ambience is very chic and service was pretty ok with the owner chatting up with us. I just hope they do seriously take measures for the issue we discussed.

Lovely place,the ambience is good too.Has a garden bar which you'll love it just that the lady bartender who was serving me the particular night was too rude but anyway there are always a rotten apple in a basket of fresh ones.

Firstly packing was very good and nice. I ordered murg makhani biryani and falafel-e-khaas. Quantity was way too good and biryani looks so tasty. It was decorated with almonds and contains a lot of cardamom and clove. Chicken pieces were smoked well
