A Nightmare Experience at Sarita Bar: Avoid at All Costs! I recently had the misfortune of visiting Sarita Bar at Bogmalo Beach in Goa, and it turned out to be a truly horrendous experience. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this establishment has absolutely no regard for basic hygiene standards or customer satisfaction. I feel compelled to share my shocking encounter to warn others to steer clear of this place if they value their health and well-being. Let me start by addressing the abysmal service we received. The staff at Sarita Bar displayed a complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. It seemed as if they were completely disinterested in their jobs and had no desire to provide even a minimal level of service. Our orders were taken with indifference, and the waiters appeared more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the needs of the customers. To make matters worse, the food quality was nothing short of appalling. It is utterly unacceptable to serve food that is not only unappetizing but also potentially hazardous to one's health. Our disappointment peaked when we discovered a dead insect in our meal, leaving us utterly disgusted and horrified. This not only highlights the lack of proper food handling and cleanliness practices but also raises serious concerns about the hygiene standards maintained in the kitchen. The washroom situation was equally dreadful. The facilities were in a deplorable state, with human feces on the floor and a nauseating smell permeating the entire area. It was evident that the washrooms were not cleaned or maintained for an extended period. This level of negligence and disregard for basic sanitation is absolutely unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for customers' well-being. What shocked me even more was the appearance of the chef, who was preparing food without wearing a head wrap. As a result, we found strands of hair in our meals, which is not only revolting but also a blatant violation of food safety regulations. This negligence not only compromises the quality of the food but also poses significant health risks to unsuspecting customers. Adding to the litany of grievances, the waiters were observed wiping off their sweat with their bare hands just moments before serving our food. This unsanitary practice is not only unprofessional but also poses serious health risks. It is unthinkable that a supposedly reputable establishment would allow such unhygienic behavior, endangering the health and well-being of its customers. In conclusion, my experience at Sarita Bar was a complete nightmare. The pathetic service, abysmal food quality, and appalling hygiene standards make this place unworthy of any patronage. I implore anyone reading this review to avoid Sarita Bar at all costs. Your health and enjoyment should never be compromised by such a grossly negligent establishment. Let my experience serve as a warning and save yourself from this dreadful ordeal. There are plenty of other reputable options available in Goa that will provide you with a pleasant and memorable experience

Good rooms at reasonable prices. The view is very good. The staff is very nice and food is also very good. Loved my stay.

The food is lovely. Overlooking the beach, it is a soothing a relaxing place to enjoy your time at Bogmalo. We enjoyed ourselves at the restaurant for many hours, having a delicious meal and gorgeous view of the sea and coastline. The hosts were sweet and welcoming. Worth every second and penny.

Feels like home, It was my first time having sea food, loved it , staffs were very friendly, had good experience.

Resturant have most 3rd class waiters (one north east Motu) . They doesn't have any idea how to deal with guests. They keep waiting guests at restaurant long. at my turn the ideot did the same and at last after 1 hour told me that my order can't be made . .. This resturant should have zero star if I have the option. Advised to not to go there.. Pls go other shacks in Bogmalo beach..

Nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Bogmallo this is a beautiful getaway from crowd. Its just 15 mins drive from the airport and even the drive is pleasurable. As the property mentions, its right on the beach with its courtyard and restaurant directly opening on the beach. Rooms are a bit small and bit messy and you might need to carry your own towels and blankets. The best thing about this place is its restaurant. Not only do they serve tasty and sumptuous food but also the cocktails/mocktails are excellent. The restaurant is just facing the beach and you will loose track of time enjoying the meals and drinks and looking over the ocean. Nice place, great hosts and absolutely wonderful stay. Not to mention the tiny little Bogmallo beach is very clean and beautiful.

It was a beautiful scene from the hotel and staff were also very polite and helpful

If you are visiting Goa for a quick trip with family and want to explore South, this place is adjacent to the Dabolim airport and on the Bogmalo beach. Please book a family suite if you have 2-3 members, great eateries like John Seagull and Joets are a stones throw away. Enjoy Bogmalo and Sarita is a perfect place for quick trip to and from the airport.
