Sariska Tiger reserve - Bala Quila Gate - Wildlife and safari park in Alwar - Alwar, India

The Bala Quila Gate at Sariska Tiger Reserve offers a captivating blend of nature's wonders. Surrounded by lush greenery, the reserve boasts diverse flora and fauna, creating a picturesque landscape of valleys and hills. This includes a drive to the fort which is also very scenic, and you're likely to spot some wildlife along the way. On the downside, if you're looking for a place to see tigers, you may be disappointed. During my visit, no tigers were spotted, leaving the wildlife experience incomplete. However, the vibrant presence of peacocks, spotted deer, and sambhar deer compensates to some extent, offering glimpses of the rich biodiversity within the reserve. Overall, while the elusive tiger remained hidden, the natural beauty and varied wildlife at Bala Quila Gate make it a worthwhile visit for nature enthusiasts.

I have visited the buffer zone and the ticket price is 50 rs for personal vehicles and additional 10 rs per person. Karne mata temple, Bala fort , and Hanumanji temple are the main attractions of the area, from your personal vehicles you can visit these areas but if you need more off-road experience and want to explore the forest you can hire the jeep cost around 1400 rs...

Fantastic view of alwar city nice place to visit for sunset

One of the oldest tiger reserve in India. However, didn't get to see the tiger but had a great experience of traveling in jungle safari on a keep. Our guide was pretty great, enjoyed the sunrise in middle of jungle. It was early morning at that time, which kinda added to the experience.

Bala quila was the second destination when we have visited in Alwar, after Moonsi ki Chhatri. Bala quila was under construction the time we have reached. Still the place was calm and serene. Then we moved to the area of sariska, the place is calm and serene which has seen glorious past. There is a entry fee of 1320 for a group of four or couple or individual, in which you can take the safari ride with guide or you can take your own car except two wheelers. I didn't see the usage of safari much comparatively to own car. The place has leopard, sambhar, wild boar, pythons, herds of peacock and infinite number of birds.Well except leopards and pythons we have witnessed some other animal i.e boar, peacock and dear. The view from the height of the fort is breathtaking.. The mountain range was so photogenic and more interesting in evening. Mainly there was nothing allowed to eat so kindly take it on serious note. At the time leaving we have seen a cafe outside of safari. But due to lack of time we weren't able to witness the service. Overall it was full worth of money and time trip. I took this photo from outside Bala Quila, as the Palace is getting renovated from inside. We saw a Stag in the bushes behind the palace. It's very common to see Stag and Sambar Deer while driving to the Bala Quila

We saw a lot of birds and deers, bunch of warthog but no tigers or leopards. We went for an afternoon safari and maybe that's why. However there aren't any decent shops to provide refreshments outside of the reserve as well.

To meet nature its a fantabulous place even though could not meet the tiger but still there were other animals and birds which are to be seen and watched...better luck next time for us to see Yuvraj the tiger
