A beautiful property located inside a real fort. Excellent personalised service. Staff is warmly attentive. Amenities match those of a middling hotel.
What really shocked me were the humongous food prices. Two small tawa rotis cost 150, steamed rice for one person 650 and yellow dal 950, all excluding 18% GST! The Afghani Chicken (1350+18%) I tried tasted like boiled chicken with some delicious coating no doubt.
The breakfast, mercifully included in the room tariff, had a wide variety and served in charming surroundings.
On the whole a nice experience for those looking for a quaint, quiet place and willing to spend a small fortune on food.

Excellent unexplored place for a luxurious stay. The location is superb and the personal touch in hospitality is beyond words. Gives you a feel of king / queen when you stay inside the fort walls and in same rooms where queens used to live before 250 to 300 years. Extremely peaceful place and gives a feel of living close to nature.
This is one of the best and expensive hotel of Rajsamand. It is cheap for foreigners, but Indians will find it expensive as compare to location and other hotel and resorts. But then also you can have a visit and have tea or coffee there. You will feel good. When life gives you make lemonade.
We had a one night booking at the hotel and as soon as we reached we began regretting that we weren't staying for a longer time. Retained by the original family, the property is not just stunning, it's filled with character and a personality of its own. The staff is warm and friendly - a special mention to both Ratan's, Dev, Lalit and Bhushan. I'm sure all the other staff is also great but we didn't get a chance to interact with them. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful, the ambience as well as the food. I'm already making plans to go back for a longer stay. Less than 2 hours from Udaipur, this place is a must must visit.
The place was nice and clean. Heritage fort more than 300 years old. Renovated but the authenticity is kept as it is. Well maintained place and we enjoyed our stay. Raj, Manish and the entire team is very hard working.
Some work still in progress, as soon as it's complited, it will be a wonderful place to enjoy royalty.
Words are too small to describe beauty of this place. Very isolated heritage property. Very beautifully restored this heritage place. Each room has essence of Royalneas. Staff is very polite and cooperative. Anyone can imagine their royal destination wedding here. Must must must visit this place once. Highly recommended.
