Patel Park in ambala cantt is very beautiful park for family and friends. I recommend you to visit there during evenings or morning if you want to go there with your family. There is a mandir also inside the park. Plus a big lake. Also you will find lot of greenery and flowers which makes it ideal location to just relax and enjoy the nature. Also you can take a roti with you and feed the strays there. There are lot of places for kids to enjoy there, like lot of swings and other playing areas. We love walking on the grass there as it is good for health. If you park your 2 wheeler outside the park in the parking area then you will have to pay rs10. Toilets are not clean here. Although you have a shop to buy snacks from.

It is a peaceful place to have a morning/evening walk. There is an open gym with few equipments. Great place for kids. Lawn area is vast and there are benches to sit around. You will find different types of plants and ferns.
Its plantation designing of the park is very much beautiful....it's a lover point as well...though in the evening family can enjoy being here.....its greenary will mesmerize you...must visit place...
It is a very good and old park. I remember it used to have a boating pond in front of the temple when I was young. Relatively it is still better than other parks but it needs proper care to be alive again. There are ducks but swimming in dirty pond. Not all fences are intact. I hope this park will someday be developed to its full potential.

Every big and good Nature park..you can also listen the birdsong as well. Best place for yoga, running, walking and exercise. Morning is the best time to go here between 5am-8pm Not recommended for female to come alone here. Come here with friends
