AMUL(Anand Milk Union Limited) is a pride for Anand and India. This dairy has a number of silos and you will see a number of milk tankers coming in. Here the main products are milk, butter and milk powder. I have been there for a visit and there was a guide who explained everything in detail and answered every question too. They have a very rigorous testing for any milk that comes in. The dairy is so well maintained and it runs 24*7. All the activities are fully automated and very less manual intervention is required. Overall, a great place to be if you are in Gujarat.

This auditorium has 1532 seating capacity, to fully function this facility technically they need to swichoff one of the Plant so the power supply does not fluctuate. I'm wondering why they couldn't install a solar panel. That will be a wise decision. Amul Mother plant is very well maintained especially toilets are neat. During the tour the guides will explain the history how this organization get started also remembering Dr. Varghese Kurian, father of milk revolution in india. Factory is fully operating by Machines. Worth for visiting.

Amul Dairy campus is very informative and environment friendly. Auditorium is also nice with enough space for visitors and participants.

It's a pride of nation worldwide.. as a manufacturer they are perfect but if you aske me about its tour they are very very disappointing.. they can be better. Also they can have a small souvenirs shop inside the premises at the end of the tour. One can take a life time memory home with them
