SARAVANA BHAVAN - Restaurant in Pala - Kottayam, India

I recently dined at this vegetarian restaurant, and I must say, while the food was delicious, the boost I ordered was surprisingly expensive. Priced much higher than expected. On a positive note, they do have ample parking available, and the washroom facilities are quite good.

Very bad food... I think this is a duplicate saravana bhavan. They can't even make good dosa. Sambar tastes very stale Tomato chutney is awful Only white chutney is adjustable. Masala dosa is very pathetic Dosa tastes the sourness of fermantation. No salt in dosa Only coffee is good.

A good veg restuarant in pala. I had breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was good and tasty. Served neat and clean. This restaurant has an upstair dine-in but was too compact still have a normal ambience. For lunch I had meals but that was just ok ok. Comparing with breakfast, lunch was not up to mark. They have a proper parking space. And the staff was also nice.

I think the ownership changed recently. It was closed for a few days and reopened. Earlier the restaurant was managed pretty decently, now its substandard and felt like its managed by some locals. The staff were not pleasant and were showing a take it or leave it attitude. The upstairs ac was completely closed. There was some quarrel happening inside the kitchen and the waiter seemed very grumpy. Waited for over 15 minutes for the waiter to arrive and he wouldn't come. Called him out several times he wouldn't listen. I stood up from the seat and called him and he looked at me and just walked off. Terrible service. Had mentioned the issue at the billing counter before leaving the place without eating. Customers shouldn't be bearing the brunt of what's happening in the kitchen. I will not be visiting the place nor will i recommend the place ever again.

It is not a real Saravana Bhavan and the food especially Chuttnies taste different. Don't try tomato one. No service in upper floor during morning session. The attitude of the staff and the service are unprofessional. Only recommended item is coffee.

One of the worst hotel . Staffs are so naive. So is the manager girl who is cashier. All Sabarimala devotees , don't eat here . They are having head weight because they have sales in here bcoz of sabarimala pilgrims

Authentic South Indian Cuisine at Saravana Bhavan. I recently visited Saravana Bhavan and was impressed by their delicious vegetarian food. I ordered the paratha and was blown away by the crispy exterior and soft, flaky layers. The chutney and curries were the perfect accompaniments, adding a burst of flavor to each bite. I also tried their dosa meal, which included a crispy and thin dosa served with flavorful potato masala and sambar. The dosa was perfectly cooked, and the combination of spices in the masala and sambar was spot-on. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. They were happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions I had about the menu. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, I highly recommend Saravana Bhavan to anyone looking for delicious South Indian vegetarian food. The flavors and textures of the paratha and dosa meal were amazing, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items.

Being a traveler from Sabarimala I recommend this hotel for a pure vegetarian meal at Pala. Quality of food is good Restroom are clean and hygienic Service of food is quick but not up to the mark as the waiters are lethargic serving the orders. There is supermarket and bakery nearby. This hotel is located in ground floor of a mini shopping mall.
