Saravana Bhavan - Vegetarian restaurant in Guruvayur - Thrissur, India

Worst experience, average food. We sat at upstairs. Took more than 45mints to get food.

Worst experience. Everybody including the person in the cash drawer was showing attitude. Initially they asked a group of us to go upstairs for the breakfast. The hotel people upstairs in AC informed there is nothing they can serve upstairs except puttu. Now why would anybody run AC for puttu. I think they were running AC for themselves. No dosa no Puri which was available downstairs. I told them that I'll volunteer to serve my group and asked them to just give 18 dosa but they simply denied. Now all of them including old age people had to climb down the stairs and we all gave our peace of mind and stormed out of this hotel and went to bear by Vasantha Bhavan. Very close is this Vasantha Bhavan hotel - though they also had difficult time serving they did not show attitude and served - took around 40 mins for 20 people to finish our breakfast is something ok.

Not best as expected for the brand name. Hotel was full and not much neat. But A/ c room was well maintained which was neat. Food was average. Masala in masala dosa was a bit sweet, batura was good but chana was not at all tasty. Idli was average. Vada was superb but 1 costed Rs 20 ( may be as it was in ac room) which I felt was too costly. Puri and bhaji was really very tasty.

Poor Atmosphere. Always Crowdy. Near to Guruvayoor temple. Food is just okay. Good Coustomer Service. Not much clean.

Seems to a local hotel. Not keeping the taste of brand.tea is very poor. Much better hotels are available near.

Good and tasty vegetarian food. Decent South Indian menu. Even fried rice is served there. Not noticeable during traffic.

Tasty food- especially - chana battura, Ghee roast dosa and crispy Udad vada. The waiters and staff are sincere and friendly. During the peak time, we have to wait for our turn - which we have to bear, considering the quality of food. At the first floor (AC Room), it is very calm and quiet. Table - wash room - general area - are well maintained. Turnout of the staff are good ad disciplined. Definitely recommend if you're in Guruvayur ad looking for good pure vegetarian food.

I would strongly prefer give one Star for all our experienced on 02/10/2023 The service was one of the worst they think that they're providing free of cost. Food taste is not That much good
