Saravana Bhavan - South Indian restaurant in Vellore - Vellore, India

I doubt it if it really comes under the management of Saravana Bhavan. We ordered fried rice and soup.. In garlic fried rice there was no salt. Sauce, salt and pepper was not served with the food. Only tomato sauce was kept, that too was taken back after 5 mins as another table asked for it. Pepper was served in small steel bowl. Not all satisfied with the service. Entrance and lobby is not at all maintained.

Best Vegetarian restaurant in this spot. we visited there on independence day. One of my personal favorites in this restaurant is their complimentary sweet Pongal which is very tasty on that day and also we ordered many types of dosa's Every dosa is very tasty except podi dosa! And they give sambar and 3 types of chutneys which are very good and tasty also they serve good and super tasty tea and coffee. Super good restaurant must try and enjoy.

Ghee roast masala dosa was so good. Idiyappam was so-so, maybe a matter of individual taste.

We were on our way to Bengaluru, when we took a detour to dine here. I went purely with the brand name, and thankfully, I wasn't disappointed entirely. The atmosphere in the AC section was just ok, we were the only customers for a long time after we took our seats. Quite a few dishes were missing in many sections, luckily for them, we weren't choosy and what we wanted was available, at least in the starters and main course. They have a plethora of dishes in their desserts menu, but a lot were unavailable, which was the only time I felt disappointed. A brand chain like HSB ought to have their entire list of dishes up and ready, least of all desserts, but that wasn't the case on our day. You can visit this place for a quick lunch on your way to Bengaluru/Chennai, or even if you're passing through Vellore. The washroom was well maintained, and though it's located on a busy road, they have a parking facility for cars.

Decent wrt food taste and quality, but I feel it is inferior compared to other Saravana Bhavan branches in Chennai and Bangalore. Also not much sweets options available. Parking available for 2 and 4 wheelers.

Food was decent as expected but for the price that we pay the ambience is not neat nor is their toilets clean, there are no separate toilets ladies and gents which is not good.

Excellent food quality. Wide spread of South Indian food items. Good parking space, superfast service and authentic taste... Must try - filter coffee.

Ok, the food was as expected, satisfactory. However, the service was pathetic by all means. The atmosphere was also just ok, but that can be understood as the crowds were plenty. The service can be rated negative if possible
