Too costly everything.
But seating is good in restaurant. No adventures things to do here and boating is just ok ok.
But if Govt. Do some upgradation here and promote it in tourism spot. It'll make sure our one of the fav. Destination.
Just to spend your time away from the hustle and bustle, if you are in a mood swing, its fine. My rating is absolutely as par to the location and fun you can do there. One must not hype about the place to misguide people about a place. You will find a lake, secluded from the city. In one glance, it will seem a village. Its amust to avoid altercation or quarrel with localites. You can see strange eyes, around, looking at you, as if you are an alien to their place. Very peaceful, bit cool. Village may seem pretty. You can enjoy, at least its nice to be there for one time visit. I would really rethink before I visit there twice. Boat ride is fine, in the lakes (so-so). Resort is cool, clean and nicely decorated. Overpriced are the food and delicacies available. You may get hard alcohol, and again which may be over priced.
For me, its a nice place for picnic, winter mornings, are fun. One can come along with a group/groups of people, enjoy and retreat towards their home by the end of the day.
Haryana Tourism place is good for a change. The tourist complex is surrounded by green area along with Damdama lake view. Food is fine. Try their pakodas with tea. Best time to come during monsoon when you will find enough water in the lake.
Decent hotel at a decent price. It's very close to Damdama lake which is more like a pond now. The lake is too dirty and doesn't feel like a lake at all. You can though do boating inside.
For the hotel, it's good government hotel. Nothing too fancy here. Most of the staff is old as with all government hotels. We had chilly Paneer here which was actually cheese pakora presented as chilly Paneer.
They charge above MRP. I bought a Ayur water bottle for 32/-(MRP is 20/-). I couldn't argue with them because the person at the counter said don't buy if you have problem and tried to take back the water bottle. I paid by Google Pay UPI. If management wants, I can give them more details.
It's a very sorry mess. If you want to see a stagnant pool with touts offering camel rides and the most awful "attractions" then go. Otherwise just don't. Paying Rs 20 for parking there - really???
Good facility for boating in the neighborhood. Kids can try adventure activities like flying fox, net climbing etc. Good restaurant being run by tourism department is there.
Poorly maintained. The only good thing is that it has a hilly grass lawn. The lake has almost dried. There is a hand operated "jhoola" and a camel to ride around.
A perfect place if you are looking for something unique and something out of the league.
They will serve you the regular stuff in such a new and innovative way that you will go gaga for it. The presentation of the food ia really jaw-dropping.
