Beautiful place. Clean water. Beautiful atmosphere around the place. But road from Bishmuri highway to Saralpara picnic is very poor. Takes almost 2 hour to reach that last 30 km.

You can instead take a halt at Bongaigaon and proceed the next day. But this is going to cost you some extra amount of money. Situated along the Indo-Bhutan border, Saralpara in Kokrajhar district is quite nearby to the headquarter of Sarpang Dzonkhag (DC) in Bhutan. After crossing Kajolgaon on the main road keep driving until you reach the turning on the right side towards Bishmuri. There is a huge gate just on the turning point and also the Bismuri Army Camp ahead. Then you need to drive through the Gaurang Range till you reach Saralpara picnic spot. You have to go through the jungles of Chirang Reserve Forest from Digli to Saralpara. This road that starts from the turning of Bishmuri and through the reserve forest area is in a pathetic condition.just from this point only for the bad road condition. Also, it's better if you start the journey early in the morning so that you can spend maximum time in the picnic spot. Also on weekends, the places It consumes maximum time to reach Saralpara just from this point only for the bad road condition. Lovely place for picnic, outside from the crowd of the tawn, it's almost 15/18km from the highway.
What an awesome place it is! This incredible place siting right at the foothills of the mountains amidst the knee depth river flowing across the vast grasslands presents a view that is breathtaking for the least. The place offers day time picnic as well as night halt at a very nominal fee. I have to add here that the road for about 31 kms is very bad and tiring to say the least but all that tiredness goes away once you reach the place.
We all know it's a very beautiful place to chill. It's become more beautiful on a lite rainy day. But on a sunny day also it's not that bad if there are enough water in the river. Don't come on Sunday, if you don't like crowd cause usually people have plan on sunday . I recommend you all to come a other day of week, not on the weekend, we should feel the beauty and calmness of nature in silent. Please don't come alone. You have to cross a long distance between a forest. And the road condition is also bad, so bring your friends, family. Unfortunately, if you will have some problem in between the jungle, you have no worries cause you will have people who can help you. Also bring sufficient money for the entry fees and also for your needs. It's an another honest review by me Okay bye..
Place is clean, water is also clean and fresh and cool. But there is no bathroom, no proper dress changing room, no proper restaurant, condition of road is also very very bad since the place is under developed.
