SARAIGHAT LAKE, AMINGAON - Fishing pond in Guwahati - Kamrup, India

For me, It is not just a lake, being a by birth Amingaon , I have seen the entire phase of construction of the park. (Below attached photographs from different time). Some features as well as cones are mentioned below: 1) Good tourist spot in Amingaon with greenery & lake. 2) Good for kids. 3) Average time required is 30-60 minutes. 4) Water is green. 5) Park is not well maintained and cleaned. 6) Lake is of good size, surrounded by government sector offices. 7) Seats are located around the lake. 8) Beautiful pictures can be taken here.

One of the best place to spend time with friends and family. Beautiful place with amazing scenic beauty.

It's a beautiful lakeside park with amazing view & gentle breeze from the lake. a cool place to hangout & spend some quality time with friends & family. You will find a soothing experience with the calmness here amidst the noisy n bustling of the city crowd.

The lake was cleaned when we were in college. Now it has reached it its peak beauty. Best time to visit is in the morning or evening as during the day there is little shade as the trees planted were not grown fully and are of small sizes. Overall a nice place to be with family n friends.
