Our stay at this resort was for two days. It's location is in the lap of Nature. The resort is well maintained with beautiful landscape with full of greenery. The staff is very cooperative. The food at their restaurant is sumptuous with great services by the staff specially Mr . Raghu and johna the owner of the resort. Must visit place.
The lodges are a delight. We were treated as friends and not customers. The reserve is really large and we saw the black bears, the guide was very knowledgeable. Do not miss a boat trip on the Ken .
Beauty along with being traditional md nature friendly yet contemporary all of it rolled into one is Sarai at Toria! I have not seen any other property take conservation this seriously. So glad we stayed here and enjoyed one of our most memeorable stays here. A big shout out for doing up a beautiful al fresco candle lit dinner for a special birthday celebration!! Kudos to Joanne, Raghu the leaders and their entire team! Look no further if class is what you seek.
The Sarai at Toria is a beautiful riverside hotel close to the World Heritage site of Khajuraho and to the Panna Tiger Reserve. The eight independent cottages are created in village style mud and thatch but have spacious contemporary interiors. The dining/sitting area is an open structure commanding serene and stunning views over the Ken river, to the park's hills beyond.
An excellent place with beautiful ambience of ken river with excellent service. The honour of this resort Mr. Raghu is very knowledgeable of wildlife and always ready to give their best to the guests.
What a very special place this is. Wonderful traditionally built lodges and rooms amongst the trees and grasses, fantastic home grown vegetarian food, Pied Kingfishers hovering and diving on the Ken river which borders the property and expeditions into the gorgeous Indian forest and jungle at Panna. Our hosts - wildlife photographers, authors and conservationists Joanna and Raghu and their excellent team - made it an experience to cherish and remember for many years. Definitely on the 'must go back' list.
A beautiful, rustic, sustainable and peaceful stay! Loved the food and ambiance :)
We stayed for four nights. Just about the right amount of time to check out the offerings here. Safari, boat ride, temples, fort, yoga and... The great food! We really enjoyed our stay, were very well looked after, learned very interesting things about Indian wildlife and most importantly it is all very environment friendly!
