Its a very nice place for morning walks if you are around Sarahan! But, please do no follow GPS routes to visit. Ask the locals about the route and they'll guide you perfectly. The Pheasantry have gates from where you wouldn't be able to find the entrance. So, following GPS, you may not the right gate. Recommended!

The only Conservation Breeding center of State bird of Himachal Pradesh i.e. Western Tragopan, locally known as Jujurana (King of Birds). Here you can find captive individuals of Western Tragopan, Monal, Khaleej Pheasant etc. Also you can get a good view of nearby bhimakali temple and Sarahan Village.
It's a nice place and nature lover must visit this place. Situated near Bhimakali temple.
The were a total of 6-7 birds for viewers, counting two of the same species. Don't go with am expectation if coming across many exotic birds. But you can sit near the main gate (near the temple below) in the evening or morning to catch sight of a lot of birds which flock in the bushes and trees around.
It was good overall, a 500m hike and 3-4 species of different birds...
Well maintained pheasantry. Famous for artificial breeding of Western horned Tregopan bird.Monals, Ringed parakeets and other birds are reared carefully.
