Saputara museum - Archaeological museum in Saputara - Dang, India

A tribal museum located near circular junction in Saputara and is a must visit. The interior is simple, but a little bit dusty. It houses tribal artifacts, paintings etc. The entry fee is a small fee and an additional fee for photography. One can visit a small aquarium and grab a bite at the eateries nearby. However, it needs to be maintained.

I visited the museum today in 2023, hoping for a great historical experience, but I was disappointed. The museum's maintenance was poor, with water leaks and damaged tiles. Honestly, there wasn't anything captivating that you couldn't already find in books. I'd recommend considering other attractions instead.

At a distance of 1 km from Saputara Bus Station, Saputara Tribal Museum. Established in 1970, this museum was built in order to portray the life history and the methods used by the Dang tribe in particular, but it also represents the culture of Bhils, Kunbis, Gamits, and Warlis amongst other tribal communities of the region.
