Sapphire Suites - Hotel in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

I have been frequent visitor to this hotel since 2019 and the hotel has been deteriorated significantly since 2019 with frequent change in reception and other hotel staff and my last visit few days back had been worst. I always visit with my parents and stay for minimum of 3-4 days . I usually avail rooms which is normal and comfortable for my parents but this time they provided deluxe room and as per the term "deluxe" goes , I thought much better privileges in comparison to the money being spent . But below are the issues that have been found : 1) The room staff has kept the commodities of room such as tooth brush , sachets of milk, tea , coffee and sugar on the shelf instead of putting it at the right place . 2) The deluxe room comes with only bath tub . When I agreed , I should have been informed about the change from standard to deluxe . This has occurred because there is no experienced receptionist as in old receptionist . The one who are in the prestigious position are so novice that they don't even know what to say at what point of time . 3) The health pipe handler is so tough it doesn't even rotate which means this has been bought in quite cheap price . In my house there are much better health pipes to use . Why should anyone spend more than 7000 to use below standard items ? 4) The only good thing or should I say best is the food and the greetings from the experienced people , they are not changed. They have provided excellent food and people have spoken really well , Sourav Mondal , Pintu Saha. Both of them are excellent. I won't recommend anyone to visit this place unless thins are better or they have done exceedingly well

Please accept this as an appeal and warning to not book this place for stay as they are running a crooked place with rules which are out of this world for example stains on towel will have to be paid, Moreover the hotel claims they have parking which again you will be surprised that you can not reach as it is in the middle of busy street market

All the staff be it Restaurant, house keeping or reception all are helpful and polite. Restaurant food is really good. Room service is also very good. What I liked about was the clean rooms and the place. Sapphire Suites is in the middle of New Market Area. All the main places to visit in Kolkata is here. Transport is very easy as Metro, Cab or any other transport is easily available from here.

One of the best places to stay at the heart of Kolkata. Their In Room Dining experiences are really great.

The hotel is decent... Situated right behind new market. Park Street is just a walk away!! The staff are quite hospitable!! Just a little difficult to get here by cab because of all the narrow lanes..

This place is really awesome! We stayed there for two nights, and the people who worked there were really friendly and helpful. They made us delicious breakfasts, thank you so much to the restaurant team.

I gave Location 5 star not because of good environment but because location is in heart of the tourist spots like Esplanade Metro, Esplanade tram ride near KC Das sweets, new market shopping area, Indian Museum, peter Cat, Nizam Hotel and metro connect to Kalighat, victoria, MP Birla, St Paul cathedral, Shyam Bazar
