I recently had the opportunity to visit Sao Jacinto Island and I was truly blown away by its beauty. The beaches are some of the best I have ever seen, and the water is crystal clear. The island is also home to a number of interesting historical sites, including the ruins of a 16th-century Portuguese fort. Sao Jacinto, a small island known for its tranquil and unhurried atmosphere, may not boast of grand attractions, but its quaintness and laid-back lifestyle are what define its charm. This Island is privatized for their residents but you can visit the Island's abandoned Church and Lighthouse which will give you a horror vibe and you'll have to walk uphill to reach the church and lighthouse, Ask a local they'll provide you the way

Nice and quiet place. I went last Saturday on 25th December but I was not able to visit the church as the path to go there was not maintained and there was no other way to go there. Also visitors are not allowed board is put on there so I respected their feelings and did not cross the line.

Sao Jacinto is an island in the estuary of the Zuari River in the Indian state of Goa. It is one of the few inhabited islands of this tiny state on the west coast of the Indian peninsula. The island is closest to the southern banks of the estuary and is connected to the mainland via a causeway. The island houses an abandoned lighthouse that is fiercely protected by the islanders. A church dedicated to St. Hyacinth overlooks the waters of the river towards the east.

A couple of friends and I had gone to Sao jacinto island in the evening to chill. We ended up climbing the stairs to the lighthouse which had an amazing view on the top. The 360 view of the sun setting in the zuari river was beautiful.

A quiet and small island near Vasco which offers great views of the waters around. There are houses around the island and even a small church right near the entrance. To enter the island you don't need to take a ferry or anything, there is a bridge that takes you directly to the island. A nice, quiet place to spend some time from the rush of the city.

This location is a bliss. Crossing over the bridge and just reaching this small island makes you suddenly feel like you have travelled away from the mad lands of Goa.
