Santript - Restaurant in Kota - Kota, India

This restaurant is located in Ortus hotel. The ambience of the place was pretty good. The menu was extensive. The staff was polite but unresponsive. I had to call them for four times before ordering main course. The restaurant had no provision of exhaust fans too. They served sizzler to some customers and there was no outlet. The quality of starters was up to the mark and serving portion of starters was quite good. Certain things like french fries and crispy corn were too oily for my taste. The dosas were crispy too.

The reason I'm giving it a 2 star is because the service was really bad. The staff was very unresponsive, the food also didn't taste great. The waiter didn't sum up the order after we gave him the order. This led to misconception and he forgot to write one dish we told him. Also they took very long to serve the dish. This may be because the staff wasn't well trained(The ambience of the place was really good) I hope they improve the service soon

What a wonderful way to ruin your evening. Super slow service (One order wasn't served until unless we asked for the bill) Untrained staff as they don't know how to deal with customer grievance and resolve them. Menu has a lot of options curated but they don't actually serve all of it. You get a roadside dhaba feeling asking whats actually available/served. Lastly the reason why we went Santript was due to good reviews about food preparation but I was disappointed with the taste, serving and platting. I would not recommend Santript at all to anyone unless the services are actually improved.

We had heard some disappointing things about the restaurant but when we actually went to try the place, it was amazing. Ambience, food, service all were great. We loved the gobhi Manchurian and have ordered delivery too. Update- We went to the restaurant at 10:15 today and the servers looked us at disdain. They did not entertain what we wanted to order and provided bad service, mostly rushed. The manager Abhishek was not interested to understand our greviances. DO NOT GO TO RESTAURANT after 10PM unless you want to spoil your mood. THEY CLOSED THE BLINDS AT 10:30 PM, SWITCHED OFF FANS/AC

This place has probably one of the best ambiences in Kota and is usually not so crowded. The staff is well mannered and responsive, wait time is not that much of a concern here. The quality of food is great as well. 'Crispy Corns' are a must try

Today I had a very bad experience. One of the Worst management I have come across. Generally there are very few people, but today half of the restaurant was occupied, and they took 50 mins to deliver my food. Most of the things were not available. I first order bhindi 2 pyaza, he came after 5 mins said we don't have, they we ordered pav bhaji, after 25 mins we asked him what is the status of order, he said pav is not available, we are arranging , later he bought bhaji with burger. I got shocked. They we asked for some other snack and dessert he took 10 mins and said sorry we don't have. They just have paneer and dal. They cant manage crowd. Worst management. Go on your own risk, you may return empty stomach.

Good location, parking available with a helper, tasty food. Got an anniversary special 10% discount as well from them. Good ambience, can be full on weekends. Overall a good experience.
