SANTINIKETAN HOMESTAY BICHITRITA - Home Stay in Santiniketan, Bolpur - Birbhum, India

Unexpectedly bad experience... As said 10 to 15min from sonajhuri, but no it took almost 25min,they have own Toto, which is too much expensive, Network issue is there,and wifi is not working properly. It's called homestay but behaviour is like a hotel.. Whereas service and cleanliness is very very bad... Mosquito, Dirt and and used period pads in toilet.. And most importantly the owner came to her own homestay but didn't have a courtesy to meet their customers or guests regarding everything is ok or not... That is really unprofessional behaviour. U have to eat in their dining rooms only,can't use outside table,as they r so so dirty. Unfortunately I can't ad the pictures of bad exterior,dirty rooms, toilet,used pads,etc etc.... If anyone wants,can contact me will send the picture personally.

If you want to spend some time in quite, away from city noise , you must stay here. It's a Home away Home. Do not expect luxury standard as it's very much simple arrangements available here. But every service they provide, they provide with love and care. Now ratings: As a 6th Tire Google Guide, my ratings are as follows: Area 5/5. Decoration 5/5 Room 3/5 Food 4/5 Connectivity from Station 5/5 Wifi available. Room service available. Parking available. Scope of improvement: Room renovation needed . Water Jug + Glasses inside every room. Shower only has cold water system, need to be corrected with hot water also. Mirror for Shaving infront of a Basin needed . Lastly, I must thank Paramita Di, Sadhu Da and Deepa for their hospitality and sweet behaviour. They welcome us with their open heart and became our close to heart within few minutes of check in. A must stay in facility in Bolpur for Peace Loving family. Thank you!

I had read such great reviews of this place. Extremely disappointed with the place. Rooms were shabby, not at all maintained, everywhere there was layers of accumulated dust even on the floor.No hygiene at all. The pictures don't reveal the truth. Had to shift to another Homestay even after making full payment after seeing the condition of the rooms. Non AC room was worst. Even AC room was not clean. Broken glass and furniture kept on one of the windows inside the AC room. Even 400rs lodge by the station are better maintained than this place.All money wasted.Very much disheartened.

Stayed here for 3night, all service is very good. Specially food quality is 10 on 10 Room service is 10 on 10. Washroom hygienic Quality is 10 on 10 Distance from bolpur station is quite far But need some upgradation. 1. Intercom installation. 2. Bed size is quite small 3. Mattress on bed. Overall good experience. Giving 3star for bed without mattress.

Never stay there. Rooms are very dirty. Huge changes there with menu card. Watever you ask to eat their reply we dont have this, select another one. 1 week old chicken served every time. During lunch or dinner dogs are there beside your dining table, During stay any time you might be shifted to another room without any prior information. I recommend no 1 shud visit there, its very far from station & in a horrible place. Dont select room just becoz you have seen the picture. Very bad experience, after wasting lots of money.

We have planned INE day trip and you people have made it more special and homely. It's a lovely experince staying at your place. None of the time it felt like we are staying in a Home stay, it felt like we visited our relative's place after long time .. The hospitality we got is unmatched and some how it will never fail to touch your heart.. The owner Joy Da and his daughter Labonya accompanied us while visiting the near Jungle, which again was a lovely experince. Rooms are clean and beautiful, food is awesome and the home stay is very safe too.. It will give you the home out of home feeling.. Thank you all for making our trip memorable.. Looking forward to meet again... A BIG THANK YOU FOR SERVING US ICE CREAM AT 12:30 MIDNIGHT (AND FOR THE SMILING FACE EVEN WHEN WE KNOCKED YOUR DOOR AT THAT TIME)... Guys it's a place worth staying.. You should experience the kind of hospitality they practice there.. It will add a memory permanently in your travel book for sure..
