Note should be 3.5 stars. If you're looking for a place to get your Yoga Teacher Certification, this is a good option in terms of quality/price. You'll get 1h30 asana practice in the morning, at 10h you'll get the brunch, then 3h of theory and finally 1h30 of Asanas in the afternoon. Everyday you'll finish at around 4pm. The school is located in a very noisy street in Trivandrum. This is sometimes annoying, but you'll get used to it. Food is good, but not satvic. One of the best points is that there is a maximum of 12 people per group, and usually 50% of the people are Indians. This gives the experience of a natural and true cultural exchange. Given that this is not an Ashram, the accommodation is in a Homestay away from the school. The Jewel Homestay where I was was really great, incredibly great. In the school, you'll get theory and philosophy classes. Mantra classes as well, Ritha is an excellent mantra teacher. Anatomy and other topics are covered. Special mention to the Asanas teacher in the afternoon : Jinu was an awesome teacher, he involved himself with all of us so much. I really appreciate having teachers like this. Reshma and the rest of the girls there were always very helpful, they wouldn't never let us down. Very good experience, very good price!

These people are shameless.. They always stealing money from students.such a fraud group. Unfortunately I'm a victim of this scam .so beware these people

I'm doing a yoga teacher training in India with Santhi at the moment and everything is going very smoothly! It's a very authentic experience and we learn a lot about the yoga philosophy as well as the asana. The teachers are nice and patients, already here if you need an advice. Also, I live in a homestay with a beautiful kind family! Really enjoying it at the moment. A beautiful break from the modern society and an immersion in the Kerala culture.

I really loved the 2 months I spent studying at Santhi Yoga. I learned so much and had the opportunity to come across so many beautiful souls in this place. Reshma is a lovely woman who takes care of every individual student in their needs with classes, accommodation, and even personal recommendations. She is very helpful and tries her best to make everyone happy. The price is lower than most ttcs and the schedule is more relaxed than most. There is a wide variety of teachers there. Some are excellent, and others are not. There seems to be a lack of structure and organization of how the courses are put together as a whole, hence the 4 stars, but in general it's a very pleasant place and I would go back again if given the opportunity. I attended the 2014 December 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course! It really feels like coming to Santhi was meant to be! I was suppose to attend a course in the North India which completely fell through and at the very last minute contacted Reshma (literally the weekend before the course started) to see if they could fit me in by any chance - which they could! At first I had mixed feeling, I really don't like the south of India, but then again I was finally going to do my YTT! I don't regret going one single bit! I even started liking the south, which was probably more to the serenity and sheer joy I felt from coming from the daily schedule at Santhi. We had some fantastic teachers, I absolutely adored JP who we had for every morning asana lesson and for the yoga teachings before lunch. He was just the type of teacher I had wished for, he said so many fantastic things and really put not only yoga in perspective for me, but also religion and spirituality! What I really loved about the course was the variety of teachers we came across. Santhi yoga really went out of their way so that we could experience different ways of teaching yoga! I would definitely recommend Santhi to anybody! Ps. Sorry Reshma for letting this review delay for so long!

Fraud people and institution...please do not trust this place. Gets foreign students by offering accomodation, and makes them stay at homestay but without paying homestay, and collects total money from the students including the accommodation. They are totally unreliable and you will get easily cheated. When followed up for the money they avoid picking calls, they are rude and finally absconding from the place. They do not pickup calls and their cheating nature is so obvious. Currently planning to take it legally, only because they are fraud people. Please do not fall for these fraud institution.

Terrible experience with Santi yoga. I paid for a course for the yoga teacher course and also a course in Ayurvedic cooking. I decided not to do the cooking course as the teacher training course was below average and Reshma promised to refund the money. Constant emails and bank details and still nothing. Very dishonest and very disappointing.

These people are a SCAM!!! they took my money and cancelled my course. And it's been 1 month they haven't returned my money. The reason being they have used my money for their personal usage. I have been understanding enough to spare them time but they are really shameless to switch off their phones and not respond to my messages. Even after telling them that i will go to the police they haven't budged. SUCH A SHAME TO TROUBLE PEOPLE FOR THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!
