Santhei Natural Park,Andro - Park in Andro - Thoubal, India

If you are a nature lover, then this is a must visit place in Andro, Manipur. This is a picnic spot for the locals, with a lake and wonderful views all around. You can see the hills at a distance and the lush green meadows are a treat to sore eyes! Just pack some food, travel to Santhei Natural Park and spent the day with your family and friends in the lap of nature. Few food stalls and gift shops are also present. I would say this is a nice attempt to increase tourism in Manipur. The place is nicely maintained and a lot of local tourists and picknickers. Also joggers and couples. But overall a nice place even in summer afternoon.

In case if you needed to get away from the choas of everyday life, the busy schedule or if you want to plan a family picnic, class reunion this place is worth visiting. You can also cook , listen to music and have a great lunch over there. The bougainvillea orchids, the tall trees, the ferns , the hills and the glistening water adds beauty to the place. Some really beautiful artefacts, figurines are also sold inside the park.

I like the very concept of Parks in Manipur. Thts how it should be. Beautiful surroundings, water bodies, ample clean seating, efficient waste disposal system and a very nominal entry fee. A good place to enjoy a picnic with friends or family. There are dedicated places to cook, relax, for children to play or for one to enjoy a drink. Oh yaa, even if you forget to carry some chilled beer, there is ample on offer right outside the entry gate for a Price though.

Located at Andro. It is about 1.5 hours by road from Imphal city. This is a popular picnic spot amongst locals. There is a large water body with hills in backdrop. Lush green surroundings in monsoon. Good natural views.

First thing first, the parking area was spacious. Public toilet both out/inside the park. Entry fee for adult is Rs 10 & parking fee for car is Rs 50. Singju & local rice beer are also available near the gate. No restriction to drink & eat inside the park. The landscape remains natural & you'll get to see cherry blossom if you visit during the season. Overall a good experience.

A good place to have a family picnic with a wide free space for kids to run around Amazing scenery, but no activity for kids available. facilty for cooking and hiring gas stove ,pan etc available.. there are strawberry farm near by and a must visit if we pass by Andro...

Best place for picnic in Imphal Valley.... Its location at the foothills gave its serene beauty.... Authorities can, however, improve more and add more activities or whatever new..... Can visit with girlfriend, boyfriend, friends or family
