Although this place is in Farrukhabad district, but Mainpuri district remains only 30 kilometers from here, while Farrukhabad will be about 38 kilometers from here. Myanmar Buddha Vihar is also a grand Buddha Vihar. There is a pillar inside this Buddha Vihar, in which a divine statue of Buddha is made all around and the cleanliness is also excessive. Now talking about the outside of the temple, it looks like a unique example of a very beautiful sculpture.

Loved the well maintained temple compound

Good for a small trip. Combodian and Malaysian temples are the most beautiful in all of them. Combodian temple is bit far from the rest of temples.

Peaceful place with full of positive energy. Architecture of the temple is quite attractive & new in the town. Worthy to go and spend good time with family, nature & god

Nice place. Lord Buddha's temple built by Myanmar devotees. The place is neat and good. Great sightseeing if you arrive in time. The timings of the temple are such that the people coming from different places can't visit it during its hours. That being said , it deserves a visit. The place is easily accessible from Bewar, Farrukhabad and Mohammadabad. Go ahead .

Sankissa (also Sankasia, Sankassa and Sankasya) was an ancient city in India. The city came into prominence at the time of Gautama Buddha. ... He also built a stupa and a temple commemorating the visit of the Buddha. This temple exists even today and the ruins of the stupa are also present as a temple of Vishari Devi. This is a disputed place and this matter pending on high court. One of the few places used by all buddhas. Recommended to visit the place with a group with a leader who is knowledgeable in the dharma so that everyone can benefit. The ancient holy site of sankissa is now reduced to a pile of rock and soil but it is great to see and develop saddha. Search shankissa basantpup on Google maps for accurate location.
