I am a traveller from WB and stopped by Rajkot during my Gujrat trip...while trying to explore Rajkot I stepped into this restaurant for take away...I opted for masala idli and I found it very good in quantity as well as in taste....staffs are also very polite...and fortunately met owner of the restaurant..all are very courtesy full and make my visit a memorable one...Thanks you for the gesture
I have been visiting Sankalp Restaurant ( Opp Love Tample) quite often. Other than food the one thing that I would like to appreciate is gesture of Captain Subhash Singh. He always has a smile and provides good customer service. I have seen his enthusiastic approach all the time and communicates in a polite manner. I am completely impressed with his dedication towards work and customer service.
Food was very good and up to the utmost standards. Service was very good too. Waiters served hot dishes as soon as one dish gets over. Very polite and hospitable staff from the guard at the parking lot till everyone in the restaurant. Atmosphere was a bit congested and there are not much tables available for all the guests so there was some waiting time. If an expansion in place happens, it would result in a very good ambience and would lessen the waiting time for the customers.
Sankalp visit is always good in taste & ambiance. All the south indian items are good there. They offer 4-5 type chatnk and hot sambhar. In last they provide PAN filled with coconut and all that is also very yummy.
The taste was good. We went to south Indian section and ordered military ghee roast dosa (recommended by the waiter) and mini idlis. The sambhar and chutneys are served unlimited. They also serve chutney podi and mint chutney. Though you can't expect it to be authentic south Indian but it will satisfy the north Indian taste buds for South Indian food
