One of the iconic South Indian restaurant chain of Ahmedabad. Once we used to go for it on any occasions or celebration, and really liked the food. But as the time passes , restuarant also gets older , I found that ambience have became dull and outdated. Staff uniform was also seems to be many years old . Even staff was also became old by time. Only upgrade is the menu card which is very colourful, rest all is getting downgrade. Charging extra 20 rs for aaloo masala. Sambhar taste is getting worsen. Service is also very slow. Though Ahmedabad people may go for Sankalp outside Gujarat as a well known brand but will definitely opt for it in Ahmedabad or in Entire Gujarat. If restaurant is not upgrading it's ambience and taste, it won't be able to survive in long run.

Masala idli for starters and dosa with filter coffee is highly recommended. Food quality is great and as per sankalp standards. 1 dosa should be enough for most people. Seating space was surprisingly available during weekend dinner time.
I order Upma. Take away order. He dnt give spoon. I call for spoon why not Given. So He called me Plastic not allowed but he packed upma in plastic container. Rude Behivour with me.
Best south Indian restaurant. Spring dosa and rasam idli was awesome and also biryani is really really good. Staff is good and helpful. If you love south Indian food then it is a must go place.
