Sankalp Bhumi Farm Resort - Resort hotel in Jaitanmal, Belagavi - Belagavi, India

The place was good. But we went at the beginning of June. Most activities mentioned in the website were under maintenance. The owner, manager were excellent in making us feel at home. Staff also was very efficient. Would like to mention that the owner is very adjustable regarding meals, provided you express what you would like. Also meals prepared at the resort are much better than if ordered from out. Suggestion: order less dishes and more quantity of each.

The property is good if you are looking up to have a get together with friends and family, the staff is also very supportive, it has pollution free air as you can see lichens on the trees, also a very good spot for photoshoots, the only problem with this is the room, the rooms are not very clean.

This is a quaint farm style resort nestled with nature. Loved the rooms, the cleanliness, the simplicity of the entire place. Truly a must visit.

Calm, serene and friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was good, it was nothing fancy but wholesome homemade food. Location is great, just a few blocks away from the heart of the city if you wish to shop or eat something different. The swimming pool wasn't functional during our stay, but they're working towards getting it ready. Kudos to Mrs Arti Kulkarni and family for maintaining it as a 'home away from home' resort.

Its a very beautiful, close to nature property. Surprisingly it is pretty much with in city limits yet very rustic. Food is bit expensive ( only the one that is not grown inside the property) their thalis were tasty, sufficient quantity and @right priced. Their boating, pottery activities are must do!!!

We stayed here overnight enroute Hampi from Pune in Dec 2022. It's around 600 km distance to cover, not much but we decided to start in the evening after work and decided to take halt at Belgavi. I found Sankalp Bhumi farm resort in map and instantly liked the vibe and booked it. It was much relief as it was a peak season plus anticipation of spending time at a good thematic place. We even started earlier than planned so we could spend enough time there. And it was really worth all the time we could spend here. It's a eco-friendly sustainable resort developed by a few like minded people from a deserted mining quarry after all mining was done. And after a lot of efforts and years of care, the earlier barren land has turned lush green woody and beautiful. The owners' involvement in day to day running has made a lot of difference. You won't even imagine such a place exists amidst an urban residential colony that surrounds this place. The rooms and ambience are rustic and one feels deeply connected to nature. The food was simple, traditional but amazingly delicious. We chose thalis for the dinner (chicken and veg) and buffet breakfast in the morning. And guess who accompanied us at breakfast table, a peahen! She ate pohe from our hands lol. It's certainly worth to spend more time than just overnight and that's on our list next time we travel to South.
