Pathetically maintained hospital. Look at the room and the condition of bed, chair, walls and toilet. Yuckkk!!!! This is what they are giving it for the patients in a private hospital. Kerala government hospitals are giving much better facilities for free of cost.

Beware !!!!! My daughter had club foot issue and after consulting the senior doctor Nambiar, he recommended to do a small surgery and we agreed for it.. They have charged big amount for the surgery (The quality of bandage also very poor )and after that they have informed to come to remove the stitches , after collecting the cash they will not show any responsibility., now I am here to remove the stitch and no doctors are even ready to see the condition.. A nurse came after 2 hours of waiting and she removed the stitches (she was very rude and not allowed us to stand with the baby) and the baby is crying that she is having severe pain . I don't know what next ... Now while waiting here , nurse came and told that we need to re bandage and we need to pay again for that , I told them the quality of the bandage was very bad from the beginning, but they again charged for it ) .. still I have to see the condition of the foot and am waiting for it.. I recommend to avoid any kind of surgery here ..

Poor management, no value for patients time. Got appointment for 2'o clock and waited till 5 pm to consult the doctor. As i can see many of them who they came before me met the doctor before me.

Sanjeevani hospital is famous for its Cardiac department. One of the rumer about Sanjeevani is it is bit costly. But it does not seems to have that much defference especially when compared to the quality of the provided here. After all it is the only hospital nearby to have this much facility for Cardiac treatment. They have a good opthalmology department also.

Do not get admitted in this Hospital at any cost. My spouse who got admitted recently for a simple viral fever had a severe Adverse Drug Reaction and the nurse ran away watching my wife striving for breath multiple times keeping the IV Cannula open throwing blood all over our body, bed and the room. My wife was apparently healthy yet the doctor insisted us to get admitted and she had been put under IV fluids 28 hours continuously with out even giving a time gap to use the loo. The inexperienced nursing students come in unnecessarily and make the situation even worse by playing with IV bottle resulting in severe Dyspnea for my wife finally and we had to shift her to a multi specialty hospital in the next district. She became stable there. I would not recommend Sanjeevani Hospital to anyone except for OPD consultations for mild cold or cough. If you or your near ones have any other symptoms which you think is moderate to severe, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I cant forget what I had been through in the Ambulance while my Spouse was shifted and I honestly do not want anyone else to suffer the same. Consider this place just as a "Primary Health Centre" anything beyond these people might not be able to handle. Edit : Came to know from the localites that a Pregnent lady had the same trouble from this hospital in the recent past and on the way to Mangalore hospital she and her baby died.

My first request please please dont go anybody to this hospital. My uncle (Biju Kanhangad) died due to the ignorance of doctor and the lack of medical facilities in the hospital. He was a heart patient. But he was normal when he visit to this hospital. After echo test they forced to do angiography and angioplasty immediately. They suddently arranged the operation. But they cannot remove one of the blocks. And they said its not serious it will be cured with medicine. It was a lie. And my uncle's thigh was back color after the operation. They pressed to his thigh very much to remove the blood. He suffered very much. They immedietly shifted him to room from ICU. He did not get proper attention and monitoring . After that he vomited at night. Dr. said scanning facility is not working at night time for further check up. So we had to bring him to the KMC hospital. When we reach there he was no more. The doctors of KMC pointed out the faults what they did from sanjivani hospt. I lost my uncle. So I request once more to all please please dont go to Sanjeevani Hospital Kanhangad.

If you have even a small injury don't visit. Poor experience . They always suggest operations . From experience

Its reputed as one of the best joint replacement and orthopedic centre in north Kerala. Doctor M R Nambir is the Senior most and very popular orthopedic surgeon in the entire district. My uncle had bilateral knee replacement on last Saturday and got discharged yesterday. We will remain indebted to Dr.Nambiar, Dr.Ajay and the entire team for their excellent service.
