Sanjay Van Lake - Park in New Delhi - South, India

A great place to visit. The ambience and the air is pure and a welcome change from the hustle in the city. In the summers people start coming as early as 0530 in the morning and it's nice and cool till around 0730. This is the best time to visit. The lake is clean and full of all kinds of birds which makes the atmosphere very pleasant.

Well maintained lake with colourful flowers and duck and cranes. Clean water. Kudos to DMC for maintaining it well. Great spot to view sunrise. Adjoins park is also well maintained. Benches around the lake.

First of all this Sanjay van is huge. Not a place one can visit in one day. Also one either needs to be young or strong or both. Even then if you want to really explore then divide your trips and visit one part at a time. It will save u exhaustion and you can explore the real beauty of Sanjay van. This part of Sanjay van is where they treat the drainage water of Delhi. All the polluted water comes here and gets collected. The water treatment plant here looks organic and in my opinion is maintained by top microbiology cal professional. I saw how they managed floating plants. Plants growing directly on water. Its environment friendly. They have few nesting ducks with family's there who love this environment. So good inniceative by govt. Also for tourists and people they created a beautiful garden n a hang out place around it, all in a natural way. Well maintained. To protect from pollution only bicycles are allowed. So great place. A must visit.

This is very good place for morning walk, exercise. It can serve as a escape from the daily tension, exercise, relax and focus on yourself. Please do visit in the early morning hours. Thank me later. Love you all .

It's a good place for nature lovers. Offers several options for photography, nature walk or a simple laid back afternoon. I liked it.

This is really beautiful, but hunted place, so please whenever you visit there go with your group. There are lots of trees, and you can listen the beautiful sound of insects. Their sound can make you scared. When you go there always take something to eat bcz inside the sanjay van you would not anything to eat. You may have to eat only insects like men vs wild.

Couldn't feel nature anywhere in Delhi as much as here, Probably the only place in Delhi which makes you sit calmly and watch the sunsets away from the rush of city.

Nice place if you wanted to relax and enjoy some part of nature you can go this place and also have amazing qutab view point .
