I told them to give schezwan chutney which they don't give with veg fried rice. At first they said they will not give chutney but they gave eventually. That was sweet of them. Taste of fried rice was good. Chaas was not up to the mark. Ambience is mediocre. Service is quick. Staff is polite. Hygienic restaurant. Well maintained place.
We ordered Veg. Lajawab with roti and chapati. The order came quickly. The curry seemed to have been pulled out of the freezer and reheated a bit. By the time it came to the table it was already cold.
We reported the cold food to number of staff members. But no one seemed to care. It was take it or leave it sort attitude.

Sabudana Khichdi, Misal Pav, Puri and Aamras, Puri and Shrikhand, Malai Idli, Sheera and Vada with Chutney and Sambhar.
The serving portion is quite good and enough for two people. Puri per plate has 6 counts.
They have good variety of Idlis and I really liked the Malai Idli and is a must try. This was a little sweet on the taste side. Price is also not heavy on pocket. Washroom available is okay for short usage.
Delicious and tasty food at reasonable price, one of the oldest restaurant in borivali, walkable distance from station, their south Indian and north Indian dishes are amazing.
