Recently cleaned up of all the weeds and one can actually see water now! Evenings are pleasant to visit!

Sangram Sagar Lake is the oldest lake located in Jabalpur. This lake was built by Gond Raja Sangram Singh. That's why this lake is known by his name. This lake is called Sangram Sagar Lake. You also get to see a ruined broken palace near Sangram Sagar Lake. By the way, you cannot go to this palace. This palace was also built by Sangram Singh.
Sangram Sagar Lake is surrounded by beautiful hills. If you come to this place during the rainy season, you get to see greenery all around. The water collects from the hills around the lake and on one side of the lake there is an outlet for the water. When the water in the lake is completely filled, the water comes out from there. A beautiful waterfall is formed there, which you will get to see during the rainy season.

Sangram shah was a 15th C.ruler of Gond dynasty who married Rani durgavati of Gondwana land.
