Nice authentic vegetarian South Indian food. Food served was fresh & different types of chutneys available alongwith Ghee ( brown butter ). There was no waiting. Also, there are two separate halls - AC & NON-AC. Prices are on lower side.
Rude staff. Pathetic service. Not very clean and hygienic. Food is ok. Seating is ok. Only good thing about this place is it is close to Egmore station.

Orderd Tamil meals and the taste is just okay. Tasted Tamil meals better than this. I know Sangeeta is popular ;but the taste is not up to the mark. service is poor. Hotel maintenance is very poor. price to taste is not matching. They are successful because its just opposite to Egmore Railway station as it is one of the busiest railway station in Tamilnadu.
Nice restaurant. The food is good. moderately expensive. But the coffee and tea is expensive. Each charged 32/- rupees. The spot is near to Chennai Central railway station. I tried the masala dosa and was really good.
A decent place to have South Indian tiffin opposite to Chennai Egmore Railway Station. It's pocket friendly; service is quick. Prefer this place over the Vasantha Bhavans and Ananda Bhavans dotting this area.
Even though the food is a bit overpriced, the taste made me forgive the bill and enjoy the food. I ate, Mini Meals - Rs. 136 (as on 2nd July 2022, Saturday) which included, Chapathi + Kuruma Sambar Rice Appalam Tamarind Rice Beans kootu Curd Rice + Pickle Kesari PS. They serve Dosa in afternoon also! I don't know this since in my city (Trichy) they don't serve it at noon. I was only aware of this when a person near me ordered a Dosa.
One of the worst places I've ever eaten. Burnt chapati, smallest quantity of vegetables and rice possible, worst customer service with the waiter missing all the time. And when asked for extra curd. The waiter repeatedly was loudly saying that it would cost extra extra extra. Never go here. One of the cheapest places with the highest prices. Your stomach will not be full even with two full thalis.
