Sangeetha Veg Restaurant - Adyar - Vegetarian restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

It's been so long I went here in person and had food as we generally order in. Of course vegetarians love this place and the food is quite good and they have great variety. The North Indian Thali was quite nice - we had mostly north Indian food this time but all of their food is nice in general. The main problem is parking here as during peak hours, there is a lot of rush and though there is valet, it takes time. Service was good and fast

Good food with service and ambience. Visited on Saturday, They had live music (old Tamil songs) . It was a lovely evening and a good experience.

Good musical on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Very good food and prices are high now but it's okay for the food taste...

Panner tikka was yummy. Kadai paneer was good, butter roti was a bit more oily, methi roti on the other hand was a tad too dry. Limited meals were decent.

We were there for the Onam Sadhya on the 29 th and thoroughly loved it. Waited upon by a gentleman, who seemed like the owning family by the way he hosted, our Sadhya was a culinary delight. There was a delectable variety of dishes and he explained each preparation and broadly what it contained. Delicious, fulfilling and so authentic. It was a one of a kind Onam Sadhya. For the offering, it s very reasonably priced. We chose this Sangeetha Sadhya over some give star hotel invitations we had and enjoyed it so much!

Received some masala for ordering kebab with soaking oil and noodles drenched in oil ... the quality is very sad ....Until few years ago Sangeetha had a mark and the quality was good ... I suggest anandha bhavan .. they have better quality and the menu is not sarcastic.

Our reviews doesn't make a difference here coz Chennaites have promoted this restaurant in spite of all its adversities. It's a tradition for people in the neighborhood to visit Sangeetha for morning coffee and breakfast during weekends. The place is overcrowded and waiters show long faces and absolutely no hospitality. The waiting time for food is too long and taste is below average. The Sambar caused slight indigestion. Prices are exorbitant and waiters are happy to see you leave immediately after paying since there's a long queue waiting for the Table...to consume the normal dosa, vada and Idly which is available everywhere in Chennai!!!

Had food many times in this restaurant and it has a good ambience, Both North and South Indian Foods are sooo good and must try place. For Lunch Meals are best option. My favourite food is Paneer tikka and their biryani. Their biryani quantity is more and even two people can eat it. Overall I loved it
