Sangam Veg Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Madurai, Meenakshi Nagar - Madurai, India

After reading all the good reviews about this hotel, we went there only to get disappointed. When we entered the restaurant at 1pm, there was no customers but us. Ordered Tomato rice, Curd rice and meals. Tomato rice and curd rice was good but the meals wasnt. Sambar, Rasam, Vatha kulambu everything tasted sweet. There wasn't any spice or taste. We ended up wasting the food in meals. Not sure why it tasted so bad! It was totally bad.

Average hotel taste wise... All the chutneys tray will be opened in the table itself... If some one speaks while eating definitely the saliva will drizzle over that chutney tray.... Lodged the complaint reg this... Let's see

Stopped here while going to Rameshwaram. Reviews were good when compared to other places but was not satisfied. Good - roti and kulcha were soft and good. Babycorn Manchurian was decent Average - South Indian meals were decent and almost in all tables. Ordered veg kurma and panner curry for roti which were ok ok. Paneer butter masala was very sweet Bad - curries were full of oil and it's floating on the top. Didn't feel like eating Service was good and overall, ok ok place to eat. Something is better than nothing would be your concept.

One of the finest vegetarian restaurant in madurai. Pros Tried tiffin varities ,fried rice and gravies.taste was good and the consistency of the gravy was good. Service was good. Cons Nool parotta was not upto the mark, it was just like a crispy parotta,it can be improved AC was not upto the mark even though all the AC was switched on couldn't even feel the effect of it, kitchen door was completely open. Overall good place for vegetarian dine in

Not about sangam this is about the new temple city opened in its place compared to their outlets this is a small outlet. Same dishes, same price, same quality and same taste good service also they now have a lot of bake items as well. Parking of cars definitely a problem rest all good. They have a special thenga surattai idly which is their highlight here.

We conducted our son 2nd birthday in Sangam restaurant this year June. Hotel agreed to make the place as a party hall with dinning for us. By this plan we saved lot of money and we spend on decorations and other arrangements. The food was very good and all our guests enjoyed. The arrangements and planning by hotel team was Excellent.

HEART TOUCHING FOOD. DELICIOUS MORE OVER WHEN WE ATE AT THIS HOTEL THE RECEIPES WHICH WE ATE IT REALLY RESEMBLE OUR GRAND MOTHER TASTE LONG BACK 4 DECADES WHICH WE ATE.

Good food and reasonable price. Few vehicles can be parked in front. Good service. Toilets for gents were neat but need repair.
