Sandy's Service Apartments - Lodging in Bardez, Saligao - North Goa, India

I travelled to Goa last week with my wife and friends and had booked a 3BHK here, it was a shambolic experience to say the least. The rooms were very dirty, there was dust, cobwebs and garbage lying idly. The washrooms were equally dirty, there were no toiletries nothing, just a bucket and a mug. The utensils and cutlery in the kitchen were dusty and ill maintained. We had power cuts everyday at odd times of the day close to 2hrs and one particular day it was almost 4+ hrs. The swimming pool had a lot of restrictions as well and being in a residential complex the timings were pretty short (10AM till 5PM). The lights were not working in most rooms and we had to continuously nag about it before it was fixed. That is not all, there were rodents (mice) and ants running around in 2 of the 3 rooms. We barely spent any time in the rooms apart from sleeping at night. Feel free to book this property at your own risk. At this price there are a lot of better places around. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Hated it, I can adjust in every situation in my vacations if the rooms are good or bad. But this time it crossed the limits. Uncleaned rooms, not customer friendly AC, infused with ants,rats and mosquitos, No room service, ELECTRICITY outage and WATER SUPPLY problem, bathroom water gets clogged, one AC remote for three rooms which barely works, everything u can imagine was bad in there. Don't go by the pictures, even the swimming pool is not even worth it because of the restrictions they have. Worst Airbnb of my life!

We had our pleasant stay here with friends. Affordable place for students and spacious apartment. We booked one for our group of 8 people. Pool was not available for the visitors though.

Really nice service and you can get rented bike. Even though the swimming pool is awesome but they will put lot of rules and restrictions Preferable for families, bachelors, Couples Safe, Neat and Clean Room Cleaning service will be done daily on morning Located in main area so that you can go to calangute beach(which is very near), Baga beach, Saturday-Market, Anjuna beach go by bike. The only problem is deposit amount will not be notified at the time of booking, they will suddenly ask in your arrival, so please enquirer them before booking. Enjoy a lot and Don't forgot to visit Shiva Valley!!!!

I stayed at this apartment from Nov 28 to Nov 30 (with wife and 2 kids). It was a nice stay. Some key Points: 1. Check in time is 1 pm and check out time is 11 am (though it is mentioned 12 pm to 12 pm in trip advisor). You will have to pay extra 1000 rs for early check in. 2. Place is 15 minutes walk from calengute beach (the best part). 3. you can keep your luggage in a store room there in case u reach early and also when you check out (so that you can spend the check out day in the city without carrying them) 4. Its actual name is "Saldanha developers Pvt Ltd" (and not sandy's apartment. cab drivers hardly know by this name) 5. there is a swimming pool inside the apartment and maintained well (though i could not make it) Overall, i would say i good place to stay at budget price.

Stayed with my family and others and booked 4 rooms for 21-25 Nov 2015... Clean apartment... All amenities... Good location... Overall a great experience... Will definitely come back here! Pros - Fully furnished, 1.5 Kms from Calangute Beach (15 mins walk), close to main road and local stores, indoors are clean, swimming pool is neat... AC, TV, Fridge, Gas, Wi-Fi, everything in working condition Cons - actually none except Mobile Network (any service provider) is almost 0. You'll barely get any signal in every room. Even within the complex, there are fixed places where you receive signal and mobile data! Only one unexpected issue - Booking was confirmed for all 4 rooms 1 month before. However got 3 rooms without any issues and my room wasn't given and the reason provided was 'booking is not confirmed'. Owner says its GoIbibo problem. GoIbobo says owner has auto-confirmed. Sounded like a 'we're not at fault, we're not at fault' from both ends. Had to wait 2 hours to solve this issue and ended up paying extra and getting another room. Minus this issue, all was perfect and will definitely recommend to everyone.

The rooms were very dirty especially washrooms. The flow of water was very slow and it would take half and hour to fill a bucket if you want to take bath. The care taker Rajib was very unethical. He cheated us many times. In starting he told we can do party at room but after booking he told to do nothing at room. I don't know how they managed to get some good reviews.

I travelled to Goa last weekend. Booked a 2bhk apartment in Sandy's for 8 people. It was mentioned on MakeMy Trip that 6-8 people are allowed in a 2bhk apartment. We had a very disappointing experience in Sandy's. When we reached there they said they wouldn't allow 8 people because we didn't specify the no. of people in the booking. The owner of the apartment stays in US. The apartment is managed by Mr. Raju. He is very rude and ill mannered. After 2 hours of discussion, which later turned into argument, with the owner, they offered us to upgrade into a 3bhk and only then will allow 8 ppl to stay. We had already paid 11k for the 2bhk and had to pay another 7k for the 3bhk. And the amenities mentioned while booking like swimming pool, WiFi etc were not available at all. Strongly recommend not to make bookings here.
