We had an amazing stay experience at Sanchal Fort. The property is beautiful amidst the sand dunes. Very peaceful and well kept property. Staff ambiance facilities everything was wonderful like an oasis in between the beautiful desert. Special thanks to Mr. Virendra Singh for the property recommendation.
Beautiful on the outside. Service is good and the staff is very friendly. But on the inside (room), basic things are missing or not maintained. There's a TV but no setup box which is fine. Taps are broken and the worst part, literally had to go every wall of the room to find the switch to put off the lights. Finally the next day, found it behind the bed way below the headboard. At least an indication would be good. We were looking forward to the swimming pool which was not functional. Food is ok, just make sure you mention the spice level. It's not a 4 star as claimed, barring the maintenance the location is worth the visit.

Fort converted to hotel, property looks great, location is good too there's sand dune just behind Sanchal fort Rooms are very good but bathrooms/taps/shower need some maintenance Pool is under maintenance (looks like has been the case since couple of years)
The best hotel in Barmer for a decade now. No comparison to other other hotel in the town. Amazing heritage style accommodation, good food and service, helpful staff and stunning location.
Its ok for a stopover in Barmer on your way to Jaisalmer and is close to Kiradu temples. We only stayed here because we had a long drive from Mt Abu to Jaisalmer. Property was built with a lot of ambition but is not maintained well. Swimming pool was empty - couldnt find the gym. Paint was peeling off from the walls. Its newly built not heritage. On the plus side, staff were v v helpful to get us non oily non spicy food which tasted just like home made food. They were v accommodating. The bird song was lively and the quiet surroundings were beautiful.

Located at 5 KM away from City but excellent palace. Great palace for family functions and get together.
