Also known as Sangam Narayan temple because it is located at confluence (sangam) of Gomti River and Arabian sea.
It is an ancient temple and must visit place from where, you get nice views of Gomti river and ghat, Light house, Dwarika beach, Sudama setu and Dwarkadhish temple.
Sunrise from this place looks beautiful.
> It's located on the (Gomti Sangam) bank of Gomti river & the Arabian Sea.
> The temple is ancient.
> It looks more beautiful at the time of sunset.
The temple of Shree Narayan situated on the banks of Gomti river and Gomti Sangam (Where Gomti river meets Arabian see). Walking distance from Shree Dwarkadhish Temple. Nice location and the place is best for meditation. You can feed the fishes in the Gomti river. You can visit this place during sunset and enjoy the surrounding. There is a big sitting and watching point there which is maintained by the administrator.
Lost in time #SamudraNarayan temple
Samudra Narayan temple is a beautiful estuary (a Sangam) where the Gomti River meets the Arabian sea.
Bhagwan Krishna worshipped Samudra Narayan before building his city Dwarka.
Archaeological findings suggest that the original Dwarkadhish temple was built in 200 BCE at the earliest. The recent temple was rebuilt and enlarged in the 15th-16th century. Which means this temple is also of the similar time period. Since then, this magnificent structure has been a part of this great Sangam. And is standing tall in highs & lows of the sea.
But now no one is bothered about it neither locals nor the government & visitors. It is in a very bad state
A must visit place if you're coming to Dwarka. Located at the confluence of Gomti River and Arabian Sea Samudra Narayan Temple holds a history similar to that of Dwarkadhish Temple. Your Dwarka Tirth Yatra stays incomplete if you don't visit this important temple.
The confluence of Maa Gomti river and the Arabian sea can be easily seen from here. After visiting the Shri Dwarkadhish temple, the number 2 spot is this beautiful temple must come here before sunrise the water level on the ghat is very low, that you can go one side to other side by just walking into river but as soon as the time passes and the sun rises the level of water is getting extremely high.
There's a 500 to 600 metre long ghat where you can walk and bath here.
Also you can take boat ride of 5-7 minutes for which they charge Rs100 per person and they will roam around the few ghats.
Also you can see Sadhu Baba's who are sleeping on the ghat or doing worship and rituals here.
Samudra Narayan Temple is located in Dwaraka Gujarat. Walking distance from dwarkadheesh temple , Gopi Talav.
Evening vibe is unexplainable, great view of sea and sunset will bring smile in your face.
It's a beautiful temple located at the end of the land . The view is very scenic as Arabic ocean and river sangam is happening there. Dirtiness is there.
Although all places of God deserve five star rating but nowadays the thing missing at our famous temples is peace. There is huge rush, you are being pushed around. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev is different on this aspect. It is ideally located on sea shore, i
Ancient Shreekrishna Temple is closed in the afternoon 1-5 pm and a few more specific time slots throughout the day. Hence, plan your visit accordingly. Devotee crowd management is the worst. Avoid weekends and long weekends. Surroundings are noisy i
