One of the best restaurant to choose without a second thought, for those who are traveling towards Kottayam from Trivandrum. Samudra is an excellent place to dine. The restaurant have added many more seating options and the ambience is top notch.

Ambience is really awesome and is reflected as soon as you step in to the entrance, and also you have enough parking space.
Excellent Customer Service. Nice facilities, Lots of parking [P] - Prime location. Nice ambience and food . I also received a complimentary watermelon juice upon arrival.

Samudhra Restaurant, situated in Changanacherry Byepass is a hotel which you can trust for variety tasty foods. These include Karimeen pollichathu, Chattichoru, Different Biriyanis, Fish curry meals,Veg meals, different fish fries, koonthal fry, and many more. The ambience is good, so do the service. Courteous staffs are always around in need. The hotel has separate family rooms which include a wash area and clean toilet facilities. In addition to this, a spacious restaurant is also included for dining. The food was very tasty . We have ordered kari fry, fish curry meals, varal curry, Kappa and chicken biriyani. Event though we were a group of seven people, food was sufficient for all of us. The parking space is an add on. The hotel has having a good parking space too. All together a very good experience!

December 2022 : we visited at a very busy time and had a long waiting to get a table. The staff was cordial and friendly. The place was neat and hygienic. The food was overpriced for the quality given. Everything was served kind of cold.
Edit: We visited again in July 2023 for lunch. The food quality had only gotten worse. Mixed & chicken fried rice, mixed noodles and dragon chicken were good. Chattichoru was okay wrt taste and not at all worth the price. It does look good, though. I have had much better ones at much lesser prices. Crab was spoilt, and yet they served it to us.!! We had to send it back because it stank so bad. Kerala style curries (we tried duck mappas and naadan chicken) were average. The AC was not working, and the staff didn't even show the courtesy to tell us that. Overall, dissatisfied.
Very tasty food, good ambience and good service. Had chatti choru which has almost all non-veg dishes in the restaurant. Karimeen pollichathu was too good. Enjoyed the meal.
The food is excellent, generous portions with affordable prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended it if you had a great time with your buddies.

The service was good.The food was of good premium quality. I ordered loaded fries and I felt like my money was worth it.The only problem I felt was parking I felt like if it has more space but that's a personal opinion other that everything was good.
