Samruddhi grand is a pure veg restaurant in tumkur. LOCATION-Railwaystation road,opp to muncipal office,tumkur LANDMARK-Jeeva MRI centre TIMINGS-7am-10.30pm AMBIENCE-good one in the city where it is spacious as well as the tables arent too near to each other. One of the pure veg hotels with a great ambience in tumkur. The prices are slightly more as compared to other hotels. Food is hygenic and up to the mark Their Rava masala dosa is a Must try. Plain Masala dosa is not that great. Coffee is too sugary. But if one specifies that coffee needs to be medium sweet,then they make a great coffee. Poori is neither too oily nor too rubbery.Its moderate taste wise. Standard serving size consists of 3 poories per plate which are of medium size and are papery. Saagu and chutney are given on the sides. Benne masala dosa is good. It consists of 2 dollops of salted butter over the masala dosa. There is no podi/chutney powder in it. It consists of potato baji and well roasted dosa. Sides consist of sambar as well as coconut chutney which arent spicy in the least bit. This is a perfect spot for those who dont tolerate spice. Dip sambar idly and vada is something which would be regarded as a must try here. Sambar is tasty with all the spices and sugars. One such place where dosa items are available from 7am till 10.30pm.

***Worst experience*** Ambience: Not sure why they have no lights and no fan turned-on in the self-service dining even when there is dark & hot in hall. Food: We ordered Mushroom Biryani and Gobi Manchurian Taste? - Very bad, mushroom biryani is like fried rice with no salt and Gobi Manchurian is as plain as just coated paste with unroasted raw cauliflower without salt and nothing in it. Quantity? - Excess (One plate serves 2 persons) Price? - High! "They push Quantity for customers without Quality" Felt very bad, had taken a friend along with me today and finally an Unpleasant moment.
