Love it...There are lot's of facilities in the hostel..There are many other paid hostels in Vallabh Vidhyanagar and Anand but they do not provide such facilities which one may get in the Government Hostel like Samras Chaitanya Chhatralaya..it looks like a hotel more than a Government Building...
Thank you to Gujarat Government that such provides hostel facilities without any fees. Also Best qualities food. So it's our responsibility to take care of such property so more student can take benefit of it.
A very good hostel to live in considering government hostel. They are providing good food three times a day. No charges at all for any facility. Combined restroom in sufficient numbers are provided at each floor. Bed, covers, pillows and blanket are also provided by hostel management. Drinking water is available at all times as there is 2 ro filter on each floor. Day to day use water is not available sometimes in day. All ro filters are not working everytime but management is taking care of it frequently once they stopped. Breakfast is not good but you get tea ready in morning. Other two meals of day are very good considering occupancy of 230 - 250 people. They are choosing students by online applications on basis of merit. If you get admission then i strongly recommend it.
Best Government Hostel in Anand, Gujarat. Located near University Ground. And Sports complex. Poor quality road to reach here... No Proper Connectivity to main road so Students suffering a lot. Free Food & Accommodation, Nice Food Quality, Full facilities of accommodation, High security. Student are not so aware. They misuse the resources like... Tabels, Bathroom's door, Food. Thay take admission in more than two hostel and stays no where. So Needed students are not getting admission. Shame on they Students.
