I stayed in this resort for 2 nights with family on weekend. Manager was very helpful, co-operative and courteous. All the staffs were helpful. Rooms need more maintenance with respect to clean mattress and pillows. There was foul smell inside the room on arrival which took a long time in subsiding. Restaurant was very good in ambience. Range of dishes was high. Food quality and taste was very good. Breakfast menu was plentiful and tasty also. Amenities were too many. Unfortunately couldn't enjoy sand bike riding due to some fault in the vehicle.
Sambodhi Retreat is located in Bodhgaya, this place is very close to all tourist attractions. My stay with this place was very good. I traveled all the way from Varanasi just to explore the property and its services. I was very satisfied with the service and the rooms were very clean and hygienic. I chose their igloo room with an attached semi private Swimming pool and Experience was good. If you are planning for date or any kind of birthday or aniversary celebration try to avail their Candle light dinner or pool side breakfast, i preferred candle light dinner it was amazing. Very Nice place to spend time with Family. It's surrounded with greenery and very good garden. Main attraction is garden infront or beside each rooms. Very nice and peaceful place. Loved it a lot and will visit again.
One of the worst hotel destinations to be present in, the rooms which we received were horrible for a family room. The washrooms were not well maintained and most important there was water leaks from the air conditioning room which was commonly observed in other rooms as well. The hotel is situated in a far end of the city with no shops close by for anything and the room service was pathetic no one answers the calls and the room service is too slow to respond. Some compartments have no lift and you have to walk 3 floors and carry the luggage's and there's no Wi-Fi available in most places.
Situated in the city of enlightenment you can feel that vibe in this city and for the fun Sambodhi Retreat is there to take care of you. They have amazing rooms, their services are very good. You can take a dip in three of the pools in which One is for the kids, the other is the main pool with approximately 5.5ft depth and the last one; which is semi private; is with their one of the best rooms and perfect for couples THE IGLOO HONEYMOON COTTAGE. If a couple wants to have some quality time with their spouse/ partner this is the best place in the town. You can watch river falgu from their River view rooms. There are rooms facing the statue of Lord Buddha, if you have more members then you can have Pyramid rooms. Sambodhi Retreat also helps you in planning your special functions like engagement, wedding, anniversary. They have experienced and best chefs in the town, most of them have worked with renowned restaurants Last but not the least if you plan to visit Gaya, Bodhgaya and nearby this is the place to stay.
Very well developed resorts perfect for all. The room service can be improved in peak hours. The restaurant has a fantastic chef and staff.
It's expensive to some extent but its ambiance is quite better. It is rejuvenating and the surroundings are much of the eye capturing...the resort has some of the best staff and they are very supportive. The food was good.
