This is my Hometown This is under the ECR Samastipur Division. Now in a better situation. All facilities is available. Neat & well cleaned. Lightening & fan is in good condition. Escalator also available. No more crowded. Food & Snacks is nice Happy Journey

Nice place very clean railway station. Modified escalator stair. Automatic stair escalator. Almost all over india train passing here . Gang man Track Man well working their job . Sweeper also do there job for maintain good neat and clean plate form and railway station compound . There me be theif who stole mobile phone and money you need to awareness to take care of everything personals. Have a nice journey.

The major facilities available are waiting rooms, a retiring room, computerised reservation facility, a reservation counter and vehicle parking etc. The vehicles are allowed to enter the station premises. There are refreshment rooms with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items, a tea stall, book stall, post and telegraphic office and Government Railway Police (G.R.P.) office. Automatic ticket vending machines have been installed to reduce the queue for train tickets at the station.The station is also equipped with free Wi-Fi. The station also has recently been equipped with lifts at both ends of the station.There are seven platforms at Samastipur Junction. The platforms are interconnected with two foot overbridges (FOB). Platform 3,4 and 5 are the busiest platforms and are mostly used for long-haul trains.

One of the best station in Bihar very net and clean. Now there is a lift for old and Persons with disabilities. There is a paid parking where you can park your car or bikes as per your need. You can also book private cab there. Cabs are available for every village and major city and places. You can catch the trains for every parts of India. The station is this is very well connected to all the major cities in the country. Waiting and sleeping are for the commuter is also available there. There are also hotels and restaurant are avaliable nearby the station. Unavailability of free parking spots is one of the issue here. On every platform local vendor and hawker available, where you can buy everything you need for the pleasant journey . There is too much traffic in the afternoon and evening time. Station is also well connected with the bus stand, you can catch auto or electric vehicle to go there. Earlier it was used to be not so clean and also lacked basic need of commuter, but now it is very clean and you can get whatever you need within or outside nearby the station. In the night you can face difficulty to find public vehicle to go outside the city. Have a safe and pleasant journey from this station.
