Salotel- Near Mae De Deus Church - Hotel in Saligao - North Goa, India

The place does not accept payments by credit cards nor do they accept payment in cash only through Gpay/UPI. The place is run down and is close to one of Goa's fav restaurant "Florentine" which serves the best Chicken Cafrael in the whole wide world.

My stay at Salotel was Nice , the place is nice and peaceful, close to the church , also the staff is kind and courteous and willing to help if need be , Breakfast is available a la carte, for food there are lots of roadside carts that you can visit or you can order from outside as well as the hotel does not serve food.

I enjoyed a delightful 2-day getaway at Salotel, located in the charming area of Saligao, Goa. The spacious dining area added to the positive experience, and the proximity of a bike accessories shop for bike enthusiasts was convenient. I must also commend the individual who organized my stay package for their exceptional friendliness and assistance. In conclusion, my time at Salotel was truly enjoyable, making it a top recommendation for anyone exploring the area.

Very old property with small rooms and bad service. Wifi only on the balcony not in the room. Rude staff with a basic lack of hospitality. The swimming pool is too small to swim. Not a place for family or couples at all.

Better place and has better service too... By the way, the whole system is good for new people who stay over there and enjoy their holiday in Goa. Very nice property. It was such a peaceful stay here. Affordable price.

A great budget friendly stay. Hotel staff is a little rude. In breakfast u can order anything one plate as complementary. We had poha aloo pratha and upma everything was tasty. Cook is humble and serves great. Pool is thier which is maintained well and cleaned Daily. Rooms are literally just basic. Mattresses are very poor quality. All and all its an budget stay.

We stayed there which was awesome. There is pool inside and good view from room.

Nice place to stay a night or two if you are with your own car. The rooms are well kept. The bed sheets clean and bathroom in a reasonably good shape. The pool looks ok. It's small but would be good during the day to chill out. The hotel has sufficient parking space and a beer cooler which can be used almost anytime if the day by paying the same amount as you would pay in any restaurant outside (~100 bucks for a can). Issues: the passage between the reception and the room area is dirty and stinky. I just couldn't understand why should they have this as it really makes you feel bad. However, either side of this corridor is ok if not very pleasant.
